“So government remains effectively shut down?”

I see that as a good thing. No spending, no new laws, etc.

The biggest folly of our government and people is the Rat concept (everyone goes along with it) that the 'work' of Congress is to pass spending bill after spending bill.

Right now their 'work' should be to rescind bill after bill and dismantle program after program, ultimately balancing the budget and paying off the debt.

Also, closing the border with (already funded DOD personnel would be nice, too.

When you say government is 'shut down' as if it is a bad thing you are just playing into the Rats' hands.

A big part of Gaetz's work in the past two weeks is to get this idea front and center in people's minds.

Thank you for posting Olog-hai.

"So government remains effectively shut down?"

Military readiness aside, given that one of the very few powers that the drafters of the Constitution actually gave to federal government to dictate peacetime domestic policy is to run the US Mail Service, consider that the drafters had intended for intended for feds to operate in shutdown effectively 24/7, most federal domestic now wrongly based on stolen state powers.

Democratic and Republican Trump supporters need to support hopeful Trump 47 with new state and federal governments by primarying ALL incumbent lawmakers and executives up for reelection in 2024, except for MTG, Gaetz & Company, Jordan (and others?), replacing them with patriots who will support Trump's constitutionally limited power federal government agenda.

After all, lawmakers and executives continue to show that they do not have the patriotism and leadership skills necessary to find legislative support for effective remedies for unconstitutional government policies.

As a side note to this post, consider that probably the main reason that we hear media complaints about the electoral college is the following.

The electoral college is now the only thing stopping the corrupt, constitutionally undefined political parties that have pirated control of state and federal governments from permanently establishing a puppet presidency that will unquestioningly sign unconstitutional taxing and spending bills into law.
