O’Keefe Media Group this week obtained emails revealing Kingsway Regional School District in Kingsway, New Jersey “has adopted a “tiered” policy for classifying students who want to transition without their parent’s knowledge.”
“I had one of my students reach out to me about their preferred name for next year. Do we know how we can input their name into Genesis without it being visible by families?” states an email from School counselor Fallon Corcoran to counselor Michael Schiff, referencing Genesis, a student database.
Per O’Keefe Media Group:
A source within the school recorded Fallon stating, “I am not calling home… everything we talk about stays between us.”
According to emails obtained to OMG, Kingsway Regional has developed a tiered ranking system to classify students. Students in the second tier are allowed to use the gender and name of their choice, and that information is kept from parents.
In one email we obtained, a teacher or school counselor writes that they “heard from [redacted] student over the summer with questions about sharing her preferred name and pronouns with teachers but does not want her family to be aware.”
We reached out to Kingsway Regional Superintendent James Lavender, who said the policy was handed down to the district by the New Jersey department of education.

“. . . Superintendent James Lavender.” There’s your problem right there.
New Jersey. Blue state. Do not care.

Some assembly requied.
Sometimes you really can’t make this s*** up.
In general, I would agree. But the more this becomes "normal" across the country in the blue locations, the more it will bleed into the purple states, and then the red states.
When I was young people would talk about the teacher who helped them with life's challenges - helped them become stronger better people.
You never hear that anymore.
Today what we hear is teachers are often sexual weirdos - exploiters - who can't even teach kids to read at grade level. Why is this happening ? It's due to the commie filth running 'education departments' at you local college and democrats who hate you and your kids.
It’s a state issue. We should spend more time making sure our individual states are solid than worrying about what these liberal states do.
“New Jersey. Blue state. Do not care.”
To try to put this nicely: One can reasonably claim that ALL STATES are Blue, when it comes to ‘education’.
For people who may disagree, you might want to read up a bit about what goes on in Red States, because it is NO DIFFERENT.
So true. This cancer is in all 50 states.
You are correct. “Then they came for my neighbor”.
I know a few girls from my high school turned out lesbian - you couldn’t have told back then, and it wouldn’t have been accepted or approved. Old days.
No female to male trans in my cohort, I have never met one. I did encounter one ten years younger than me.
There weren’t trans kids when my older kids went to school. My youngest had ten percent of her class claiming trans, non-binary.
So it’s either social contagion or some horrible new hormone disruptor in the environment.
Why would you ever hide that from parents? Why would you deny your own eyes and experience? Even thirty year old teachers didn’t go to school with dozens of sad trans kids. Those trans kids were not born that way, they barely existed in earlier times.
All the more reason to shore up Your state. It’s much easier to make change there. And Oklahoma has its problems too, but nowhere near the magnitude.
California, Colorado, Connecticut, The District of Columbia, Hawai’i, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington.
“We should spend more time making sure our individual states are solid...”
Good luck with that if you blow off it getting firmly established in Blue States. The growth of the plague in Blue States builds a nationwide perception of acceptability that puts momentum behind the agenda such that, when (not if) it pours into YOUR State through a left-of-center education conduit, you will find yourself rowing against a torrent; not a trickle.
Any reputable local groups fighting this that need funding?
I do not disagree with you but so many people, even on this forum, do not know who their state and local reps are, but they know who Fetterman is.
Menendez is still in office.
Take a look at The unity Project, for one:

The Unity Project is predominately in California, but that’s where lots of this sewage emanates from, so fighting this there is really the front line of the battle. Also, on their website note their partners, and give them a look.
Also, look at work that Alliance Defending Freedom s doing defending Parental Rights:
