President Trump laid out an agenda on Tuesday in New Hampshire that promised to bring deserved care and hope to America’s finest heroes if he is president again in 2025.

During a speech delivered in Windham to a group of energetic MAGA supporters, Trump dug into veterans’ issues, pledging to “eradicate” veteran homelessness from the streets of the country and vowing to bring back common sense legislation.

He declared, “On Day One of my new administration, I will fully restore VA Accountability – we’re going to bring it back in full force. And we already have the legislation passed, so I don’t have to go through Congress.”

President Trump outlines his pledge to America's Veterans in Windham, NH:

✅Reinstate VA Accountability Act on Day One.

✅Direct his VA Secretary to fire every corrupt bureaucrat that Joe Biden refused to.

✅Ask Congress to re-allocate $200 million from the corrupt VA… pic.twitter.com/p2Pa8ugL7J— MAGA War Room (@MAGAIncWarRoom) August 8, 2023

He also promised to direct the VA secretary to “fire every corrupt bureaucrat that Joe Biden has outrageously refused to remove from the job OR put BACK on the job.”

Additionally, the president pledged to re-allocate $200 million from the “corrupt” VA bureaucrats to the construction of a new state-of-the-art VA hospital in the Granite State.

The president was in fine form on Tuesday, joking that it was “120 degrees” in the room where he was speaking in, due perhaps to an air conditioning problem. He also took a swing at Joe Biden’s failing policies, tracing the failure to serve America’s veterans all the way back to the Obama-Biden administration.

“Under the Obama-Biden administration, the VA was plagued by one horrific scandal after another,” he said. “…Thousands of veterans were put on secret medial wait lists and many of them were left to die.”

Trump pointed out, “All of that changed when WE arrived at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.”<.

If you have not noticed, most of us have focused on the massacre in Israel and supporting Israel. Even DeSantis is focused a bit on that and helping actions, so, maybe you can explain what Trump is doing on this topic, as he has been remarkably silent over the last two weeks, he hasn’t done anything on the matter from what I have seen. So, if you insist on bringing Trump up, Why don’t you give some attention?

Out of all the VA facilities across the country does the VA in the Granite state truly need a new VA hospital, above all other such needs across the country, or is Trump just buying votes???

Probably because that's the state from which he was making his speech.

We’ve fallen very low as a country if the only thing that makes a candidate
electable is whatever he says (and doe$) about a foreign country.

Case in point: A demented Biden’s reelection chance were nil, according to the laws
of diminishing returns...........until the attack on Israel fell in his lap.

Now he’s suddenly morphed into a strong, decisive “leader.”

In Israel:
<><>Biden told Netanyahu he would offer support and he expected Israel to prioritize protection of civilians and humanitarian concerns.

<><>Biden “formally announced” the “already-arranged deal” to allow humanitarian assistance to move into Gaza from Egypt, and $100 million in new aid for those in need among Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.......which was hammered out “WITH Israel in Washington” BEFORE Biden left.

<><>Biden also told Netanyahu that he would go to the Congress with a military support package for Israel of “unprecedented size.” (source yahoo.com)

snip

Backstory: Since 1973, Israel has received more than $120 billion US tax
dollars in military assistance, including “three special aid” packages.
<><>billions for signing the Israel-Egypt peace treaty
<><>billions for Israel’s withdrawal from the Sinai.
<><>billions for redeployment of Israeli forces
<><>rebuilding Israeli air bases in the Negev cost $5 billion.

Congressional Research Service
US Foreign aid to Israel
60 page detailed report

https://crsreports.congress.gov/product/pdf/RL/RL33222/44

The concerned Israeli lobby made sure Congress is required by law to ensure that U.S. military aid in the Middle East region doesn’t damage Israel’s military superiority over its neighbors. That requirement enjoys broad bipartisan support and has served as a benchmark for ensuring Israel receives robust U.S. support.

Biden’s spending billions we do not have, then saddles taxpayers with onerous borrowing costs. Taxpayers’ children and grandchildren are compelled to pay the outrageous bills.

Biden wants $100 billion for Israel and Ukraine?

<><>Why does the US have to go in debt for these pampered foreigners?
<><>Why cant they stand on their own two feet?
<><>Why cant wealthy Israel and money-grubbing Ukraine do the borrowing for their own needs?

Veteran numbers are falling. Currently 7% of the US population are veterans and that is 9% of the adult population, and that includes current active duty.

It does not include, usually, National Guard. There are all sorts of delineations, but in a general sense the number is below 10% and getting smaller every year as the enormous count of Vietnam era draftees die off.

This is not a significant voting clout, but a useful metric is there is no other agency in govt with as much bipartisan polling/funding support as the VA.

Interestingly, funding for the VA is about 5% of total expenditures. Roughly in line with veteran totals (excluding active duty who obviously funded from DoD).

We're voting for Trump. No one cares what you do. No one cares who you vote for. No one cares what you want.

Maybe you were not paying attention. https://youtu.be/ETB1FUyF1wE?feature=shared

Maybe Biden will hire you since you hate Trump so much. You could work with Nadler or Schumer.
