Hey “Chump”, I’m not anti-Trump, I am pro-truth. I also easily support Trump over DeSantis (or the other declared candidates).

But for your edification, let me share the following, with inks to official government reports:

“Before Trump’s 2017 inauguration as president, the southern border had about 654 miles of primary barriers and 37 miles of secondary barriers, according to Customs and Border Protection information from an unpublished Jan. 22, 2021, report provided to PolitiFact. By January 2021, there were 706 miles of primary barriers and 70 miles of secondary barriers.

The Customs and Border Protection report says the Trump administration built 52 miles of new primary wall systems and 33 miles of new secondary wall systems where there were none before.

Besides the new miles of border barriers, Trump’s administration also replaced 351 miles of primary barriers and 22 miles of secondary barriers that were smaller and dilapidated.

The 2021 GAO report says Trump completed about 69 miles of new border wall systems. The other miles represent “the installation of wall panels, rather than the completion of the entire wall systems,” the report says.

Experts and observers have said Trump’s replacement barriers shouldn’t be discounted because in many cases the new barriers are superior to the old ones.”

Thanks, CodeToad, for your fact-based rebuttal to DeSnake Hiss's blatant LIES about the Wall at our South Border.

Yes, enhancing and expanding the wall is one of President Trump's signature achievements, and for DeSantis to attack Trump over this means he's an utter traitor to the MAGA cause!

And further evidence of DeSnake's slithering and lying logic is in the second half of his remarks:

"And the second thing... [Trump] could have imposed fees — and I will do this as president ... on the remittances that people send to foreign countries, Mexico included..."

Now think about what DeSnake is saying here.  Is he proposing to double down and build a stronger wall at the border than Trump delivered?  No, he's not. Instead, DeSnake wants to impose a tariff on all money sent to a person in a foreign country.  Sounds to me like a deceitful twist of responsibility that benefits DeSnake's donors like this:

1. Turn America into north Mexico by letting illegals in, killing millions of jobs for Americans.
2. Then charge the illegals (and legal citizens, too) for sending money to family and relatives in foreign countries, like Mexico.
3. Pretend that this tax collection on foreign remittances essentially "pays for" and compensates for the use of illegal aliens in U.S. factories.

So this is precisely what we would get from DeSnake Hiss if he ever became President: a reversal (or massive watering down) of Trump's Wall building and strong policy to block illegal aliens.
