We are going to end up missing McCarthy

It should be pretty obvious by now that there are few good choices among Republicans in DC. McCarthy won't be missed, but the replacement won't be any better.

I'm not sure how Republicans expect to get people to vote for them when one group of incompetent people (who seem to be no different than Democrats) has decided that it is their party, and screw everyone else.

“Nonsense.

You can’t whip 218 votes AGAINST a sitting speaker while that speaker is in power. The plan was to vacate McCarthy and then whip up the vote and try to win. Gaetz lost absolutely nothing trying.”

Exactly right.

“McHenry = McCarthy. They are both part of the establishment uniparty. We are simply back to where we were before Gaetz heroically tried to change the GOP leadership that is destroying our country.”

The Ghosts of Bush and McCain have won their New World Order and perpetual war. Our Republic is now officially gone. The Democrat Global Communist agenda and the Establishment Republican New World order agenda are one and the same. The power of the people has been destroyed. We are now nothing more than a financial source to fund globalism and war.

"Gaetz does not represent rank-and-file Republicans."

Are you serious?

Gaetz just oozes working-class appeal!:

Biden drafts $100 billion foreign aid package, including money for Israel and Ukraine
The hefty proposal, still in the works, is expected to benefit mostly Ukraine.
Details on the spending request were still being finalized ahead of an official request sent by the WH

The Biden administration is drafting a $100 billion foreign aid package that includes assistance for Israel as well as other top security priorities, according to two people familiar with the details.

Details on the spending request were still being finalized ahead of an official request sent by the White House to Congress this week.

One person told ABC News that the “bulk” of the assistance will likely go toward Ukraine, while others also said that it included $10 billion for Israel. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity in order to discuss details that hadn’t been announced yet by the White House.

The request comes as President Joe Biden travels to Israel in a show of unity with the Jewish state following the brutal Oct. 7 attack on civilians by Hamas terrorists from Gaza.

On Capitol Hill, Senate leaders suggested Tuesday that such a sweeping aid package would find support among lawmakers.

“We’d like to get the supplemental package moved as quickly as possible because the needs are great in both Israel and Ukraine,” said Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer of New York.

Republican Leader Mitch McConnell said he would support bundling aid for Ukraine and Israel and that he expects the administration to include money for border security, too.

So the traitors won.

For now. Get them strong primary opponents to go against them.

This will be like the continuing resolutions. Keep the RINO temp going otherwise congress will shut down and the GOP will look bad.

We will not do well, unless we stand against the fear factor from the RINO/Dems. This goes for elections too. Why do we have RINO's in Red States? There should not be a lesser-of-two-evils situation in a Red State. Its either strong conservative, or get lost I'm not voting for you.

Sounds solid. Former Tea Party guy and strongly pro-2A.

Originally from Brooklyn, but I won’t hold that against him... :-)

Yes. Incumbency matters a lot, especially in swing districts

Matt Gaetz is looking pretty stupid right about now. He should have had a plan in place with the votes necessary to install Jordan before triggering the motion to vacate McCarthy.

Nonsense.

You can’t whip 218 votes AGAINST a sitting speaker while that speaker is in power. The plan was to vacate McCarthy and then whip up the vote and try to win. Gaetz lost absolutely nothing trying.

So what are they? That answer isn’t acceptable.

This is the problem with those who are Rino hunting everyday. Exactly why is he running?

There’s a multitude of issues. Give me two.

!’ll give you one. Trump hasn’t ever talked about a balanced budget or restrained spending. His track record is legendary. Jim is in the pocket of the MIC and if he hasn’t opposed the Ukraine madness that makes him clearly a Rino.

So no speaker is fine until some real issues are surfaced.

I remember having those arguments here on FR when the Primary came down to Bush and McCain. That neither was acceptable and history has shown people like me were 100% correct.

I think I even got a temp ban at one point arguing against Bigger Government RINO’s...

“Gaetz does not represent rank-and-file Republicans.”

Are you vision impaired? Do you really not see that rank and file republicans are NOT the friends of the people anymore? They are working towards the very same global enslavement the democrats are. The proof is blatantly everywhere and in our faces. This event is another extremely predictable example of it right here.

I have no clue how you could get some idea that they can be trusted and actually have your best interests at heart. Because it is absolutely wrong...
