It’s kind of important that military people speak precisely and not play childish word games when communicating. Playing word games gets people killed.

That's what its about. Recruitment is down. Noises about bringing back a draft--but I bet some analysts are questioning the viability justifying it since we aren't (officially) at war, potentially sparking outright revolt if they implement it "just because" or for some BS rationale.
The fact that this became an issue at all shows how far from normalcy we are.

With all the wall-to-wall lies, fraud, corruption, duplicity, incompetence and outright apathy in Congress, I get depressed just thinking about it.

Its the beginning of adjusting the propaganda so “rubes” in flyover country won’t oppose a draft when it is re-started.
