Whenever I see that attached to any Washington pol, I am reminded that in Washington that phrase is a relative one. What does it mean? Its meaning is different to everyone, and especially in Washington it’s meaning is just a mouthful of words, nothing more.

Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-IA) said she received death threats after voting against Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) for House speaker.Just an excuse to be a squishy moderate. Hopefully she gets a primary challenge from the right.
