A syphilis epidemic has broken out in the US and clinics say its a struggle to get antibiotics.

The antibiotic treatment for the sexually transmitted disease is running low across the United States while the number of infections has risen to high levels. This has prompted dozens of public health groups to ask the White House to intervene.

And remember that granting “marriage rights” to homosexuals was supposed to “tame” the rampant promiscuity typical of this population. Instead, they brought their promiscuity INTO their “marriage” relationships, justifying it openly and saying it “helped their ‘primary’ relationship.” They are abashedly unashamed and honest about this now, after feigning a desire to “be like all the heterosexuals who took marriage for granted.”

It is firmly established through research that almost NO male homosexual relationships are “faithful” (exclude outside sexual partners) past 5 years. Although they claim to be “monogamous,” they simply redefine that term to mean “with permission or tacit agreement” to engage in casual sex with others. This is not to justify even “monogamy” in a debased sexual relationship, only to point out the blatant dishonesty which this world view depends upon.

I read somewhere that most men these days who contract HIV/AIDS contract it from their PRIMARY PARTNER.

I remember 1962 when our gym coach and health instructor told us our section of the country was free of VD. Then came the sexual revolution.
Within 10 years VD was so rampant here that you dared not pick up a skank at an Oklahoma state line bar as everyone I know who did came down with syph, clap or crab lice. Same for a big University in the next county where Bill Clinton was seen in an anti-war protest climbing a tree naked as a jay bird. Two of our workers picked up some gal there and she gave both the clap.

I am reminded how on the expedition of Lewis and Clark that when they got to the far west they warned their soldiers about the local Indian girls and reminded them that they had used up their supply of mercury for syphilis.

I remember the warnings around 1975 that a new strain of clap from Asia had invaded the US in Salt Lake City of all places!

It required a different antibiotic to stop it.

Decades ago I read the book EVERYTHING YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT SEX (BUT WERE AFRAID TO ASK) listed some other forms of VD that were absolutely horrible!

Now that California has basically made it legal women soliciting on the streets, maybe they better go back to the old military method of issuing a number tag to each one. Then on the radio or TV they can have a broadcast of all the women who were tested positive. “Here are your numbers for today...27, 82, 16...” and so forth.

It is firmly established through research that almost NO male homosexual relationships are “faithful” (exclude outside sexual partners) past 5 years.

Research for which is dubious, as I suspect some damage control was implemented after early reports stated homosexual relationships were quite rarely monogamous. And what is reported is muddled, partly due to the terms themselves, while the likelihood of lying when asking coupled people if they are monogamous is high (many people even lie about their frequency of church attendance).

In 2013 Slate stated

Mundy writes about an old study from the ‘80s that found that gay couples were extremely likely to have had sex outside their relationship—82 percent did. That was before AIDS and the great matrimony craze in the gay community, while The Gay Couples Study out of San Francisco State University—which, in following over 500 gay couples over many years is the largest on-going study of its kind—has found that about half of all couples have sex with someone other than their partner, with their partner knowing. She also tells the story of Dan Savage, who started out wanting to be monogamous until he and his partner had kids, and then they loosened up on that in order to make their union last. “Monogamish” is what he calls his new model. But as Mundy asks, can anyone out there imagine a husband proposing that same deal to his pregnant wife?

A psychotherapist writes in "The Gay Advocate"(2016) "the Marriage between two men is -- in my experience as a psychotherapist -- dramatically different than heterosexual marriage. It's a double testosterone marriage. .. it is my experience that about half of our relationships -- over time -- are not 100% monogamous. Whether married or not, many gay relationships begin to "open up" after the first few years."

A survey of 2017 reported that of a (mere) 576 respondents, 85% of single men were seeking monogamous relationships, and with 86% being monogamous couples. Yet only half of younger gay respondents "equated marriage with monogamy, and non-monogamous couples were as likely to be married as monogamous couples." (https://joekort.com/new-study-younger-gay-men-trending-toward-monogamy/)

A Gawker story [https://www.gawker.com/master-bedroom-extra-closet-the-truth-about-gay-marri-514348538] last week [which Google ignored in its first 50 results on Research on monogamy among same-sex marriage of men] explored this problem in greater detail. In the fight for marriage equality, the gay rights movement has put forth couples that look like straight ones, together forever, loyal, sharing assets. But what no one wants to talk about is that they don’t necessarily represent the norm:
The Gay Couples Study out of San Francisco State University—which, in following over 500 gay couples over many years is the largest on-going study of its kind—has found that about half of all couples have sex with someone other than their partner, with their partner knowing.... in legalizing gay marriage, we are accepting a form of sanctioned marriage that is not by habit monogamous and that is inventing all kinds of new models of how to accommodate lust and desire in long-term relationships. (https://slate.com/human-interest/2013/06/most-gay-couples-aren-t-monogamous-will-straight-couples-go-monogamish.html)

In 2020 Kellie L. Barton of Walden University found,

Currently, only a relatively small number of researchers within the field of gay and lesbian studies have contributed to the literature on gay men and monogamy. Anderson (2012), for instance, found that one of the unique features of intimate relationships of gay men is the departure from the normative values characterizing monogamy. LaSala (2005) stated that gay males are more likely to be engaged in unions that are lenient towards extra-relational sex. Adams (2006) found that among a study of gay male participants, only 26% chose to practice monogamy. A majority of those in monogamous relationships had been together for less than 3 years. (https://scholarworks.waldenu.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=9534&context=dissertations)

By 2021, we see reports such as "30% of Gay Men Are in Open Relationships, According to New Study".... According to the Gay Therapy Center study, about 42% of gay men in open relationships tell their primary partners about other sexual contacts that they have, while 33% operate under a “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy. (https://www.them.us/story/30-percent-gay-men-open-relationships-new-study)

Should expect about the same honesty to survey questions?.

`"Dr. Amy C. Moors (she/her)" an Assistant Professor of Psychology writing for The National Center for Institutional Diversity" states in 2022 (no, this is not 1950)

In the U.S., 77% of bisexual and gay men and 56% of bisexual and lesbian women have been in a consensually non-monogamous relationship at some point during their life. This rate of prior engagement is two times higher among lesbian, gay, and bisexual people than heterosexual people.... Currently, there are three cities in the state of Massachusetts — Arlington, Cambridge, and Somerville — where people engaged in consensual non-monogamy can obtain multi-partner domestic partnerships. I remember my gym coach telling us about VD and that it was contracted through sex. Long time ago.
Since then I have watched guys, gays, gals get VD or Herpes, or HIV. Come into the hospital, get some treatment, and go away. Repeat.
No one listened and they pay the price for the rest of their lives. Some call it living, I call it slow suicide.

I’ve done the math. Virutally ALL adult “gay” males have a Grindr or other “hook-up” app account.

What are they doing in these apps if not hooking up?

I agree sodomite promiscuity is the norm, and long-term monogamy more of an exception, but I like to have sources for my claims, as with this work in progress.
