A) Jeffries: There have been ongoing informal conversations that have been undertaken over the last few days. I think there's a possibility those can accelerate now that Jim Jordan clearly does not have the votes to be Speaker. For good reason.
B) Jeffries: are many good men and women on the Republican side of the aisle who are qualified to be the Speaker of the House of Representatives. There is no circumstance where Jim Jordan is one of them.

I wouldn’t be surprised if a couple of the RINOs use this opportunity to announce that they are switching parties from Republican to Democrat. It would be similar to Representative Jeff Van Drew leaving the Democrats to join the Republicans in 2019.
He was one of the most vocal ones.

This may well cost us 2024 and I'm not sure there's a way back from an all Dem gov't in 2025. We're on the precipice like CA was decades ago. We're somewhere around the Gray Davis era perhaps. Arnold was the "shock" that Trump was but Arnold wanted to be loved so caved in.
