Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said Monday the U.S. can afford to support both Ukraine and Israel in their respective war efforts without hindering the nation's economy.
Asked during an interview on Sky News whether the U.S. can afford to provide military aid to Israel and to Ukraine in its ongoing war with Russia given the current debt-to-GDP ratio of 122%, Yellen said, "I think the answer is absolutely."
She continued: "America can certainly afford to stand with Israel and to support Israel's military needs, and we also can and must support Ukraine in its struggle against Russia. The American economy is doing extremely well."

I’d love that as a constitutional amendment. Also, their personal income taxes go up based on how much we spend on a war. Unfortunately they are all enriched by war.

America's enemies are aware of the unprecedented weakness of the US right now. The US President is an incompetent puppet. The military is woke. The newsmedia is mendacious and does not inform the public. The education system teaches students to hate their own country.
America's enemies have been watching for the right moment to strike. Maybe this is it.
There is a good possibility that Donald Trump will be re-elected President in November 2024. If so, he will restore the US to ascendancy, strength, power, and focus.
That leaves a window of opportunity for America's enemies between now and Trump's re-election. This would be the time to strike.
The world could hardly be in a more dangerous situation.
