We all want good life. But many Republicans are extremely rigid, it is their way or the highway. Whatever happened to Reagan’s rule that if someone is with you on 80% of issues, h/she is not 20% enemy.

I agree.
Many of us Republicans have become so egocentric that we don’t tolerate any kind of subtle variation in opinions. As you said... the “Reagan rule” doesn’t exist anymore. If you are only agreeing to 99% instead of 100% then you are either a “Trumpist” or “Neocon”.
On thing is certain. If “Trumpists” and “Neocons” don’t end up collaborating fully, Democrats will be in power for ever in America.
Time for us Republicans to think about what we want. Are we interested to lead the country again? That will require some compromises among ourselves.
