Cowardly "Republicans" Against Perry = CRAP.

Sensing that GOP U.S. Rep. Scott Perry could be vulnerable in next year’s election, a group called Republicans Against Perry is launching an opposition movement for the 2024 10th Congressional District race.
“He is a square peg that doesn’t fit in the round hole of that district, and I think this is the year coming up when that gets proven,” said Craig Snyder, a longtime Republican operative from Pennsylvania who will lead the anti-Perry group after successfully guiding Republicans For Shapiro last year.
Snyder, a former chief of staff to the late moderate Republican U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter, told PennLive that WelcomePAC, a national, centrist Democratic political-action committee, is backing Republicans Against Perry.
Perry, Snyder said, “is counting on the idea that there’s enough of a Republican lean to the district that (GOP voters) will stay with him just based on wearing the team jersey and I think it’s a mistake.”
There are already six Democrats in the primary race to challenge Perry, a York County resident, and Snyder said that indicates a feeling in the district “to go in a different direction.”
Snyder also said that the “chaos” in the Republican-controlled U.S. House over the Speaker role shows that Perry, chairman of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, “is not there to represent the people of the district in a normal governing fashion.”
Past House members from the region were “reasonable, moderate legislators” willing to work in a bipartisan fashion on issues, but Snyder said Perry does not fit that bill.
“He’s just about something different,” Snyder said. “He’s about this chaos caucus in the House that is performative rather than interested in governing and getting stuff done.”

In other words, these are RINOs. I don’t need to know anything else about Perry. He must be supported. If the RINOs are against him, he must be good.
Worse than that. He worked *against* the GOP nominee.

Perry is going to be in a heap of trouble if the news anchor wins the primary, it doesn't even really matter what her platform is, her being a news anchor makes her look trustworthy and sensible... but as a "sensible" voice, will she win a democrat primary?
Beware! this is the foreboding of the next Presidential election. IN PA the baby killer commie republicans and democrats in this state will not vote for a republican at the state level.
Scott Perry is my congresscritter. He certainly fits what I want out of a congressman. He’s a retired army general, but not part of the military industrial complex. He doesn’t take big donor and special interest money. He never votes for a continuing resolution or omnibus appropriations bill. He never voted for a dime for Ukraine; he has an F rating towards Ukraine as there are zero American interests there. He is tied for #1 in American Conservative Union rankings. Perry is the chairman of the House Freedom Caucus. He’s behind a lot of what’s going on with speaker and house rules, particularly doing appropriations using regular order. As the Freedom Caucus chairman he is hated by many RINOs in the House. He doesn’t buy into the idea of bipartisanship. Lastly, he was one of Trump’s first supporters and never wavers. The FBI confiscated his phone while persecuting Trump for the 2020 election. As such, I am fairly confident he at least wants the FBI reformed if not shuttered.
All of these things and more align with my politics. He provides stark contrast to anything Democrats try to run in elections every two years. These pussy RINOs will make it more expensive for Perry to run again and anybody they put up will look like the next assistant Democrat. They need to be crushed.
