Personally, I think they should start with his fingers, one joint at a time, one finger at a time, one hand at a time. Then they can restart the same process with his feet. Preferably using a dull blade.

Not nice, but for the ones who order, and perform the burning of, and decapitation of infants, it is fitting and just, IMO.
