Wrong. You seem to be behind in learning what’s going on in The Ukraine. At least by a year.
Comment # 23 which follows yours cites Ben Hodges --
"He endorsed Joe Biden in the 2020 U.S. presidential election in an op-ed with Ambassador Robert A. Mandell and Lieutenant General Donald M. Campbell Jr." In Wiki article: "Ben Hodges."As we see, a subtext of the thread is at the minimum anti-Trump, pro-Biden and pro-war between NATO and Russia. Tick tock.Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Hodges
"Two retired generals, retired ambassador, all with Florida ties: Trump is unfit to lead," by Donald M. Campbell, F. Ben Hodges and Robert A. Mandell, Tallahassee Democrat, 29 Octover 2020.

"Biden must get Nato to arm itself for war with Russia. The clock is ticking in Ukraine"

For this, I congratulate on the citation in your tagline.
Texas used to be Mexican. So are you saying that Mexico should seize Texas now?
Even Old New York was once New Amsterdam.
The old saying - “might is right”. Zelensky is going have to accept that Crimea is now Russian. The West is not going to give him advanced weapons to get it back.
Your logic skills are lacking. Redrawing a boundary on the edict of a Communist dictator, Khrushchev, did not make Crimea “Ukrainian” any more than my prior 3 examples would make Staten Island Jerseyan, Hudson County “New Yorkian” or the UP Wisconsinite. As a separate nation not under control of Moscow, it only remained there for 23 short years (unlike the Texas/Mexico example, for which the former has been separated for 187 years). The entire map of the former Soviet states should’ve been redrawn in 1991 to take into account ethnic divides and boundaries based on actual history rather than bolting for the sake of doing so (though it was understood why they did - fine for the short term, but not for the long term).
Think before you post.
It never was anything but.
But for a brief period, Crimea was Ukrainian.
The comments were made by "Oleksiy Arestovych, who resigned his post at the Office of the President of Ukraine in January this year".
SO: NOT a grifting vlogger hiding out in Switzerland to avoid the draft. NOT on the payroll of NATO. Someone with recent high level responsibility in the Government of Ukraine.
the government has made “a number of mistakes” in its management of the counter-offensive. His scathing analysis states, “Now we are at an impasse. The Russians cannot defeat us, we cannot defeat them,” adding: “[Ukrainian leaders] are not telling the truth. There will be no return to the borders of 1991, and there will be no Crimea in the near future.”²Which is far from being a pro-Russian position, but really what most unbiased observers would say.
This is ACTUAL reporting from a connected Ukrainian, and it contradicts the propaganda which Reverend Mother churns out.
It was part of the Ukraine by edict of the Communist Khrushchev. It remains truly remarkable how many folks here want to respect, to the point of veneration, this singular edict. Of course, more than a few are beginning to expose themselves as Communists.
Are you starting to feel exposed?
In the General/Chat forum, on a thread titled Update from Ukraine | Crazy Record Ruzzian losses on the East | The Disaster of the Ruzzian Army, UMCRevMom@aol.com wrote: “NATO wages war on Russia”
Yes. Putin forced the invasion of Ukraine. The Russian people do NOT support this invasion. Thousands of Russian people have protested & been jailed. Russian men escape across the borders while others have become freedom fighters setting fires all across Russia.
I support Ukraine’s fight for freedom.
The Russian people support this invasion because they see NATO and by extension their proxy (Ukraine) as an existential threat. Initially Putin was trying to intimidate the Ukraine to the negotiating table to avoid war, because this was a slavic, Christian neighbor on his border he'd rather have peace with. But NATO/Ukraine built and army and made moves to provoke war. So then Putin used a lighter touch than expected at first, and his people were angry with him for not wiping the Ukraine out to stop the threat. When Putin took the gloves off, the Russians approved. The Russians? Which Russians? There are Russians who support the Ukraine, some live in the Ukraine but the Ukrainians are trying to kill them. Some of those Russians live in Russia. But most Russians want the threat gone and therefore back the war, bitter losses and all.
“The Russians? Which Russians?”
You spin quite a tale.
“NOT a grifting vlogger hiding”
Finally, the truth from you! LOL
You are not to post to me, ever.
Yes. BTW, when are you joining the army to fight for Zelensky ?
What could be more important than fighting ? Zelensky needs everyone with a pulse to defend his corrupt dictatorship.
