The point being discussed was...is there such thing as Palestinians. If there is an area called Palestine, then people living there on permanent basis are Palestinians.
People living in North America can be genetically African or European. But we call them Americans because they live in America permanently. We do not call them Europeans or Africans.

North America and South America are entire continents, central America is not. Central America is an area. I live in central Illannoy, for example.
