Israel promotes soldiers rank by rank up the ladder of their profession based upon merit. Noam Tibon, and other Israeli Generals I’ve seen in interviews, were CLEARLY promoted over many years based on MERIT.
In America we promote from rank to rank up the ladder based on skin color, gender, pronouns, party affiliation and ass kissing.
