Hey there, radu!
I’m having wifi problems....still...so hoping you’ll get this before it leaves me again tonight. I’m not doing tunes [this for Kathy, too] as last time I tried, I didn’t even get the first one done.
We did meet up with Mark on our University of Texas/Permian Basin [UTPB] and he gave us some eclipse glasses and we also watched on the monitor he had set up to record it. We had a great visit and learned stuff from someone who knows a lot about weather and stuff. He even introduced me on a segment of Fox Weather Live when he was giving an Odessa update. LOL! Of course I couldn’t find it to send to you. It was a GREAT day! Even though I had to get up reeeally early.
How were things at the museum. I’ll read your post if this one goes through and you answer. If I disappear, you’ll know why. :)
Dang! Your WiFi STILL isn’t working right? That stinks!
Glad you had a good time with Mark. Great that he had some glasses with him so you could see the eclipse directly, even though you watched the monitor as well.
We didn’t get to see as much of the sun eclipsed here but about half of it was covered. I took my glasses to the museum so I could watch a little and shared them with a few of our guests too.
It was a busy weekend at the museum and I’m whipped. Tennessee Crossroads re-airing the piece they did on us last week has been a big bump.
Yesterday was really busy for a Friday and the four of us kept going non-stop. Just a tad fewer people today but there were only two of us working so we were really hoppin’. It was a blast but I’m glad I don’t have to get up early tomorrow, and I can stay home. LOL Da tootsies are burnin’ tonight.
The highlight of the whole weekend was this afternoon when Devon showed up out of the blue. He’s the one with the British APC and you KNOW I was ready for another ride! LOL It is SO much fun.
