'Why didn't Trump do something about it?' An incredulous Ron DeSantis is yet again addressing the former President’s contention that the 2020 election was “stolen,” saying that’s an “untenable position.”
Speaking at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics’ “Politics and Eggs” event, the Florida Governor didn’t hold back when asked to evaluate Donald Trump’s ongoing contention that he didn’t lose fairly to Joe Biden.
“If that is true, he was the sitting President of the United States and let that happen to him. I would never let that happen. As Governor, would I just sit there and let something like that happen?”
DeSantis wondered “why didn’t Trump do something about it.”
“And if you didn’t do something in 2020, how are you going to solve that problem? As a private citizen rage tweeting from Mar-A-Lago? There’s just no way. So I think it’s an untenable position that he’s taken,” he added.

In retrospect, I'm certain Trump would have preferred Andrew Gillum to have won that race.
Either desantis is incredibly stupid, or he is getting amazingly bad advice on tactics.

DeSantis is hiding behind the skirts of the GOPe while mocking Trump for not fighting against the 2020 election steal. The same GOPe that was a part of the election fraud. Trump has fought to the point he is under indictment and has almost a hundred charges against him.
We have silence on the part of the GOPe leadership when it comes to the political persecution of Trump and many of his supporters and associates. Each time I start thinking DeSantis would be an acceptable alternative to Trump, he says or does something that makes me think we may as well elect a Romney/Cheney ticket.
That and 90% of industry/institution/billionaires/wealthiest men ever colluding and conspiring rigging elections is called fascism.
Not at all. At the end of the day, I didn't have to abandon every conservative principle I'd ever held to support DeSantis.
And when DeSantis speaks, I agree with what he says. I don't need to make excuses for his comments like, "That's not what he really meant... McConnell told him to say these things... 5D chess..."

The numbers had Trump winning, they decided to stop counting for the night, everybody went home yet thru the night the numbers continued to change from Trumps side to Biden’s until the next morning Biden miraculously wins.
