A ping out to the Texas Ping list, founded by Windflier.
The annular eclipse is taking place on Saturday, Oct. 14 with San Antonio being in the pathway.
Another special Texas fall edition for your perusal.
As always, please FReepmail me if you want on or off the Texas Ping list.
Blessings, and stay warm!
Awesome.
Remember people, do NOT stare into an eclipse. You can do serious damage to your retinas if you do. /not medical advice, just a fact
Hopefully, the cloud cover won’t obscure it.
I’m here in the path, got glasses. Lots of viewing parties all over!
I can’t see if the path goes closer to Kerrville (I-10) or Fredericksburg (Hwy 290) or somewhere between them.
Thanks, TB! We’re going to watch from a nearby park. Only a partial here, but we’ll get the total eclipse in April.
I’m in Odessa and it’s going to be full-on here too. Watching with Mark Sudduth of Fox Weather and HurricaneTrack.com. Starts in about 40 minutes. WoooHooo!!
Thanks for the ping. Thanks for carrying on.
Watching it now north of Waco. Its about 3/8 coverage at 11:20am.
Outside the totality zone the experience is quite a bit more lackluster. But I did view it from Dallas/ Fort Worth area and the effect was eerie. The intensity of the sunlight was remarkably dimmed and I could see crescents all over the ground through the small openings and tree branches. Shadows were also sharper as the sun’s rays came from a smaller point. neat experience..
Can’t wait for the total eclipse next April which will be much closer to me.
Results of the “ring of fire” test.
WEF: Our test of lowering the earth’s temperature has been a success.
We archived a temporary 2% reduction in solar energy. Our next test will archived a 5% reduction and will last for several months.
This will result in several billions of people losing their lives due to starvation as crops will fail but it will result in a better environment for the survivors such as ourselves.
We have put aside the best food we need and have our private planes and expensive gas powered cars and yachts to use. We will soon be moving to our safe retreats for the next phase of the test.
We would like to thank Bill Gates for his support.
My wife and I were passing through Victoria when we saw it.
Beautiful
