DW: Surprise, Putin and Zelensky don't agree on Gaza war

RUSSIAN STANCE ON ISRAEL The Russian president has reportedly not called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu since the weekend, and did not release a message of support or condolences following the attacks on Saturday.

UKRAINE STANCE ON ISRAEL: Zelensky, meanwhile, has repeatedly affirmed his country’s support for Israel, comparing Hamas’s attacks over the weekend to Russia’s conduct during the war. “The only difference is that there is a terrorist organization that attacked Israel, and here is a terrorist state that attacked Ukraine,” Zelensky said during a speech to NATO on Monday. He later told a French television station that he was confident that Moscow was supporting Hamas “in one way or another.”

Thanks - they FINALLY find one issue where Zelensky and the conservative base are in agreement (supporting Israel), and all they can do is bitch at us for pointing out the 50 issues where we’re not in agreement (such as shutting down churches, elections, shelling civilians, goading Russia, wanting World War 3, etc.).

--- "Why must anyone choose between evil people? Not our war, not our problem. It's not a team, it's a freaking bunch of wars. This writer is not cheerleading. I pray for peace and wisdom, not blood."

One observes that your comment did not receive comment as the original poster interacted with others on this thread.

Your words above are apt, especially those highlighted.

Sometimes articles are posted with an intent other that then website from which they are taken might show.

As to "a freaking bunch of wars...."

"At a time when the Pentagon budget is soaring towards $1 trillion per year and debates about how to respond to the challenges posed by Russia and China are front and center, it is more important than ever to make an independent assessment of the best path forward." On "When 80 Percent Of US Generals Go To Work For Arms Makers," Responsible Statecraft, October 05, 2023 https://responsiblestatecraft.org/category/military-industrial-complex/
Couple the stance from Responsible Statecraft (the resource for this thread), as above, to your apt comment, we should then ponder a glaring and wholly American problem:
Debt Clock
The heated "pick your thug" or "my thug is a saint while yours is a devil" sorts of rhetorical games is simplistic, dualistic naiveté.

They’re wrong a lot but not nearly as often as the doomsdayers.

I take it you think I am a doomsdayer. Show mw where there is a sign of sanity in the world. Certainly none in what was once labeled as the "Free World".

I am merely stating that it will not be a 6 day war this time around, as there will be a lot more forces pushing on the ME conflict this time around.

I guess we will see who is right.

I’m not rooting for either side, unlike you Zelenskyy bros who seem to be consumed by this “war.”

Exactly. What a strange, obsessed little bunch the FRUkie Mafia is. They’ve been extra-mad since Israel unwittingly blew their little obsession right out of the headlines.

“Pathetic to lecture me on what my family lost on your soil.”

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

What are you talking about??
I have never lectured you or your family about anything.
It’s the first time I’ve even had the honor seeing your alias-name here on FR.

You simply decided to react on my post which said there were two obvious camps today :

A) The Russia-Hamas-Iran camp
B) The USA-Europe-Israel-Ukraine camp

There are Freeper’s who have openly said here on FR they wish Putin to win in Europe. My post was addressed to those persons.

If you don’t want Putin to win in Europe you don’t need be the slightest concerned by my previous post.
Thus I don’t understand why you are upset?

Without America (especially during WW2), France and Europe would have become either a socialist german dictatorship or a Russian Soviet hell-hole.

Without France, America would never have gotten its independence from the UK. France and Lafayette spent a fortune and many french boots on the ground in America fighting for our freedom and our nation’s independence.
In that sense France is the most pro-American nation in the history of the world. France paid a price in blood in order to protect America’s true freedom.

Without the U.S., you’d be speaking German.

T”hey’ve been extra-mad since Israel unwittingly blew their little obsession right out of the headlines.”

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Actually, the Israel war is a political win for Ukraine.

Because it shows the whole world that Russia is indeed a underlying collaborator with HAMAS, and a full official ally to IRAN. Iran is representing Hezbollah by the way...

Christians all over the planet now see that Russia is not supporting judeo-christianity.

They also see that Ukraine is openly and full heartedly supporting Israel!

That’s why I see that the HAMAS attack on Israel is a massive political boost for Ukraine.

I already talked about that in my post! Open your eyes next time.

Here is what I said in my previous post about America helping France:

Unfortunately my money via taxes and taxes over the next 3-4 generations will be paying the costs. Not sure about France. So anyone here being lectured by France is a bit nervery. Just my opinion and the opinion of a 100K buried on the French soil. Screw Ukraine, screw Russia, screw hamas, screw Muslim brotherhood, screw taliban screw hezbollah. Honestly screw Europe in a way. My ancestors, yeah but can’t be bothered to provide for their own defense from a military to GDP ratio. I do give France a bigger pass than others. At least they don’t want nato to come fight their fight again.

Ukraine is not Israel. No comparison. But you made that jump and appear to want to influence USA doctrine while being a frog. So try to shame us to die in another European screwup. I think we will be cutting out on the Ukraine good idea very soon. The super liberals have worn out their war welcome. Europe could build one hell of a military if they wanted to do so but they might have to work more than 32-36 hours per week and not pay muzzle layabouts.

I think you overestimate “the whole world’s” preoccupation with Ukraine. The vast majority of us are not obsessed with Ukraine the way you are. Most of us feel for the people of both counties because their leaders are corrupt narcissists, but we’re not obsessed the way you and the rest of the Zeepers are.

Again, you didn’t read what I wrote or you are consciously misstated what I wrote!

You mentioned that I had supposedly said that “the whole world is preoccupied with Ukraine”. No! I didn’t say that.

Here is what I said:
“Because it shows the WHOLE WORLD that RUSSIA is INDEED an UNDERLYING COLLABORATOR with HAMAS, and a full official ally to IRAN. Iran is representing Hezbollah by the way...”

THAT is what I said.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

At least you didn’t say “screw Israel”. Thank God.
Thus, you go along with America continuing to give a foreign nation, Israel, 4 billion a year. I support that too.

Secondly:
You said: “So try to shame us to die in another European screwup.”

My answer: I have never shamed any country to “die” on foreign lands!
America has zero boots on the ground in Ukraine, remember? So how can we “die” in a place we are not even present in?
And I am the first one advocating for no American boots on the ground in Ukraine.

So what is the problem?

Lending Ukraine means to defend itself via a ‘Lend-lease” program against a Neo-Soviet bloody invasion while preventing the ever-expanding colonial super-power Russia to expand in the world against US interests... is in the long run an economical WIN for America. We have to look a bit further out of the box.

Hi Robert,

I merely thought that one opinion was on the doomsday side.

Compared to the expectations of wider regional conflict and WWIII-forever war is mild.

I’m somewhat astonished that the markets have shrugged it off thus far.

Take care

The markets play all kinds of games. It's a bogus barometer anymore. Like so many things it's propped up by lies. The lies are coming due, because the real measures of the economy can't bear the strain. Reality has a way of sucking bigtime. We have just been lucky in our lifetimes to have not experienced it on a grand scale, but like sands through the hour glass, it's running out. 33 trillion in debt in unsustainable, when you add in the 100+ trillion in unfunded liabilities it is just a matter of time before it collapses in on itself. You need to start being a realist. This country is being destroyed, and it's the destruction from within that will accomplish the goal of destroying her.

I'm not being adoomsdayer, I am speaking facts. A country with no moral compass has doomed itself.

This is a worthwhile video when you have the time to watch it
