France is a pillar of the Western world, I care, disgusted though I am.
They have some nice buildings but they lost their status as a pillar when they decided to kill their own culture 200 years ago.
What astonishes me is how many people think, "but we can do it right this time". No, you can't. The fences are there for a reason.
