Thanks to an activist Supreme Court, illegal aliens are entitled to all sorts of existing benefits. No wonder, then, that the Biden administration, having invited in millions of illegals, many from countries that wish us ill, has big plans to hand them billions in welfare payments. It has also emerged that the administration is threatening banks that, quite intelligently, don’t want to loan money to illegal aliens. This is the Cloward-Piven strategy on rocket fuel.
As of January, U.S. citizens have been indirectly funding illegal aliens to the tune of about $150.7 billion per year. Ten months later, thanks to Joe Biden’s grotesquely illegal open border (something that ought to have seen him impeached during his first year in the White House), we have millions more illegal aliens.
Moreover, due to a 1982 Supreme Court opinion authored by five leftist justices, America is required by law to hand all sorts of benefits to illegal aliens, everything from education to food programs to medical care. Even that doesn’t count the intangible costs they impose on Americans, whether by driving up rental costs, taking away jobs, or overburdening the criminal justice system.
If you thought things were bad already, though, it’s about to get worse. The Biden administration has plans (almost certainly unconstitutional and illegal) to hand over billions more in food, housing, and medical care to illegal aliens. (Think about that as you struggle with inflations effects on your grocery bill, rent, and healthcare costs.)
The record number of non-detained migrants being monitored by the federal agency — 2.4 million more than before Biden became president — was buried in paperwork detailing its “Release and Reporting Management” (RRM) program.
The plan is for vendors to join ICE’s monitoring of migrants through ankle monitors, phone apps and in-person check-ins.

Where are all the law suits???? I couldn’t count the number of law suits against Trump when he was in office.

It’s an abomination that should never have stood. We owe tax dollars to the citizens of foreign countries simply because they break in? Does that mean you have to turn over your breakfast to a burglar when you wake up and he’s in the kitchen?

This meltdown is getting to biblical proportions, or like two major tectonic plates hitting each other. When the adjustment happens, it will be HUGE and "unexpected". Eventually, the people who have been feeding off the public trough will be getting Benito Mussolini retirement parties.
When I first started reading science fiction novels, many of them were in the "post-apocalypse" genre. Most used an atomic war or some worldwide disease as the defining reason for the apocalypse; I don't recall a total economic meltdown as the cause in any of the stories.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced this week that the Texas National Guard is installing razor wire along the border of Texas and New Mexico on his orders. “Migrants are entering New Mexico illegally then crossing into Texas,” Abbott wrote on X. “We are stopping it.”
The move represents an escalation in the governor’s multi-billion-dollar efforts to repel immigrants from crossing into Texas, now targeted at New Mexico, which is governed by Michelle Lujan Grisham, a Democrat.

Texas increases migrant buses to Chicago, city says 63 have arrived so far this week

CHICAGO (WLS) — Every inch of the sidewalk in front of the 18th Police District headquarters is wall-to-wall tents, all used for sheltering migrants. There is so little room left that Adriana Colina and her family were forced to find space under a tree across the street.
Colina has just arrived in Chicago with her three sons, all of whom are under the age of seven.
“I didn’t think there so much population here at the police station, I thought it would be very different, I thought everything was going to be very fast with a shelter,” she said.
In a virtual briefing to reporters Thursday, the city said the Texas governor has dramatically increased the fleet of buses he is sending to Chicago.
“He plans on sending 20-25 buses a day, just in the past week we’ve had 63 buses,” said Deputy Chief of Staff Christina Pacione-Zayas.
Pacione-Zayas said the administration’s plan to move people out of police stations to yet-to-be-built base camps is imminent, although she would not say where they would be located. Meanwhile, the city is opening a new shelter every six days, but Pacione-Zayas said it’s not nearly enough and the city needs more help from its own.
“We’ve also received quite a bit of pushback and we really need help from community and alders to assist us in being able to help get people of police station floors,” she said.
