Ben Franklin has been rolling in his grave over his university since the end of WW2. Penn closed its religion department (which at the time was mostly about Christianity) 25 years ago. Two deconsecrated protestant churches abutting campus have been "community centers" sponsoring smut performances and draped with LGBT banners for 30 years. Penn used to have a very active Hillel Center; and since around 1970, Penn was colloquially known as “Jew U” due to its enrollement. What has happened?

I've looked far and wide, but cannot find the original letter published by Wharton Alumni in 2016 denouncing the candidacy of Donald Trump. I'd like to know if Mark Rowan signed it. One version I did find announced that it had scrubbed the names of signatories “for their safety.”
Former Penn President Amy Gutmann wrote a scathing anti-Trump letter to the editor of the UPenn Gazette when Trump was inaugurated, repeating the left-wing hatred of Trump over his stance on illegal immigration, and his policy of stopping immigration from nations sponsoring islamic terrorism. She has since stepped down because Joe Biden offered her, a Jewish woman, the post of Ambassador to Germany.
At the time of these tasteless, improvident attacks, Tiffany Trump was still enrolled in Penn's law school.
Not only was Donald Trump the first Penn alumni elected to the U.S. Presidency in the entire history of the university founded by Benjamin Franklin in the 1750's (before the founding of the United States), but also his son Don Jr and daugher Ivanka are alumni.
So, yes, alumni and particularly Wharton alumni—close your pocketbooks, and shut up with your unforesightful opinions.
