Paris, October 12-RIA Novosti A rally in support of the Palestinian population is taking place in Paris, despite the ban published by the prefecture, a RIA Novosti correspondent reported.
Several hundred people gathered on Thursday evening at the Place de la Republique in the French capital, Many came with Palestinian flags. Participants posters read "Stop Israel!" They chant: "Israel is a murderer!", "We are all Palestinians."
An hour and a half after the start of the action, the police began to disperse the protesters. Security forces threw tear gas canisters at the crowd and used a water cannon.
