Volodymyr Zelensky fears that Western aid for Ukraine could be diverted to Israel.

I've worked in Bruxelles, and the old inner city has some darn good restaurants. Couple of hours of chitter-chat leaves a lot of time for gustatorial splendor and samplings from the vineyards.
Given the events of the last three years, my impression is that the Feebs don't consider those things as mutually exclusive. Heck, they've told us in print and interviews via their proxies who they consider their greatest threat (hint: it isn't Hamas or Hezbollah).

Not wanting to be labeled a “conspiracy nut”, I did not voice my questions about the timing of this assault. I get the striking during the holiday but why this holiday? Is this a reaction to a real or perceived injustice done recently by Israel. Is this the reaction to an anti Islam video (wink, wink, nod, nod) or such. What line is coming out of DC as the narrative of why this happened. Does DC agree with Zman, more Russians in the woodpile?

Israel has 155 mm artillery shells, but they are unlikely to use many of them because they have laser guided small diameter bombs that do a much more efficient job. These can’t be used in Ukraine because Ukraine can’t deliver them safely. Meanwhile Ukraine is firing thousands of artillery shells per day. The requirements do not overlap. As for other big-ticket items, Israel has all it needs, and those items don’t overlap with what Ukraine needs. The place where Ukraine and Israel’s needs overlap is in the intelligence realm. Even so, the assets don’t all overlap, and the US does have an excess of satellite surveillance equipment, probably enough to serve both parties. The issue is manpower on the US’s part to man the systems for a longer number of hours in the day. The same satellites pass over both Israel and Ukraine several times per day.

Ukraine is TOTALLY YESTERDAY. Even their Operative here have returned to being dark, as their new assignment is to find a way to go after Israel in a way that doesn’t get them kicked out of their forum.
Zelensky’s whining is to light a fire under the DC Establishment to immediately put together another US debt- slaughtering Israeli aid package - so they can slide in $$goodies for Ukraine. Plus Zelensky’s sex-starved——his wife is “holding out” until US foreign aid finances another of her shopping trips to Paris.

“We will likely get this exact model,” Zelensky said in an interview Sunday with Ukrainian media, “the Israeli model that includes weapons, technology, training [and] finances.”
Such an arrangement would provide Ukraine less security than membership in NATO, which President Biden has said won’t happen before the end of the war. But it would establish Ukraine as a critical long-term partner for the U.S. in Eastern Europe, while sending Russia the message that Western support for Kyiv won’t waiver.
Congress is required by law to ensure that U.S. military aid in the Middle East region doesn’t damage Israel’s military superiority over its neighbors. That requirement enjoys broad bipartisan support and has served as a benchmark for ensuring Israel receives robust U.S. support.

Yup, Israeli Ambassador Ben Zvi stated that Israel will NOT need some great supply of weapons from the US.
“Secondly, those who believe that the United States will have to redirect some serious resources to Israel are greatly mistaken,” he added, noting that the US is a strategic partner and will continue to supply it with weapons."
