Why do we need a separate alert system for blacks? The AMBER Alert system has nothing to do with race. And the name they chose is racially pejorative--like having a "Lily Alert" for whites or a "Taco Alert" for Latinos.

It's truly amazing how the Left is increasingly embracing racial segregation, which they once considered a cardinal sin and which they crusaded against with vigor in the middle of the last century.

The concern I'm seeing from black people is that people, especially authorities, may be less responsive to an "Ebony Alert" than they are to an "Amber Alert". No one really seems to want this dumb idea.
