There is much talk and comments about who is to blame.

A lot is accurate but one name is conspicuously missing:

There was a solid and powerful backing of the Shah, a great ally of the US. The Peanut head Carter vacillated and delayed on the mistaken opinion it was the will of the people to install Khomeini and kill the Shah. In fact it was the will of the numerous and totally uneducated people. Stinking, ignorant religious zealouts nearly all of them and literally living and thinking like their ancestors did in the 9th century or worse.

First Carter should have had the CIA do their real job (not spy on MAGA) and assassinate Khomeni in France (or wherever), failing that he should have thrown US military might behind the Shah. He did neither, the Islamic radicals won, took our hostages and largely turned much of the mid-east into the radical Muslim mess it is today.

Carter a democrat—-let Khomeini win—-caused the movement of radicalized Islam—today Jewish babies are getting their heads cut off. Much of it IS Carter’s fault.
