Several years ago, I was chairing a panel of writers talking about motherhood when an Orthodox Jewish author made an observation I have never forgotten. Twins were not viewed as a blessing in her community, Sally said.
“Why?”
“Because when they come for you, it’s too hard to pick up both of them and run.” The other mums on the panel were stunned into silence. When they come for you, the Jewish mother said, not if.
On Saturday October 7, Itay and Hadar Berdichevsky realised that “they” had come for them. Gunmen were breaking down the door of their house in a kibbutz not far from the border with Gaza.
The couple, both aged 30, placed their 10-month-old twins in a secure place. In their panic and dread, with seconds to spare, the parents locked away their treasures for safekeeping.
Itay and Hadar were murdered by Hamas thugs. Twelve hours later, Israeli soldiers (IDF) found the two babies in their hiding place. They were alive, but they were orphans; the mother and father, who spent their last minutes on earth protecting them, were gone.
In the five days since Hamas’s monstrous attack on Israel, we have heard many such devastating stories, flinched at graphic videos like the one of the battered young woman meekly being bundled into a Jeep, her jogging pants full of blood.
Such images make you feel physically sick. But watching the TV news, and listening to the radio, I notice how quickly certain broadcasters prefer to move the conversation on from these so-called “unimaginable” traumatic events to the plight of the Palestinians. (In particular, Jeremy Bowen, the BBC’s International Editor, has provoked the ire of some British Jews with his flinty lack of compassion for Israel’s sorrow).

Many people have been saying this for years as it has been crammed down our throats. And now in the West we have 10lbs of crap in a 5lb bag.
Decades ago, the idea of diversity of thought in corporate strategy and problem solving became the current “thing.” The idea was if you expanded the number of “diverse” viewpoints on any corporate problem you’d get a better solution. It was only after this I saw the concept of “diversity” mutate into meaning cultural diversity and it was applied across all of society. Well, that is a problem. Suddenly diversity meant that Caucasian, male opinions and voices were not only no longer valid, but they were also shunned. Everyone was supposed to turn to the “diverse” person and accept whatever they said as gospel. No other opinions could be applied. Also, in the social aspect, the non-diverse either complied with the society of the diverse or they got acid thrown in their faces. That’s “diversity” for you.

Meanwhile our southern border is still wide open, and racist and sexist practices are still employed in education and corporations.

A massacre of epic proportions and a complete systematic utter failure of the security forces and their leadership. They failed completely and the southern border got overrun in over 20 locations. The civilian death toll will be over 1000 when all said and done. a couple of kibbutzim were pretty much wiped out. They wiped out the police station in Sderot.
I will leave this as a very shtark warning of what happens when you have an unsecured border, an incompetent security establishment, and policies that are not in touch with the reality on the ground.
One day you wake up and realize that the invasion is 100% real—just like I did on Saturday.
Israel is the canary in the coal mine for what we have known as great Western Civilization.
This will be a game changer, no doubt. but we will win.
I also hope and pray for the USA and the greatness it has bestowed upon the world. The USA is also under attack from many fronts.”

All over the world there is a wake up call happening for believers in God. II Chronicles 7:14 must be at the forefront of our heart and shown to the world. Governments all over the world are corrupt and ungodly and must be brought back to God’s government.
We are praying for you and this Leviathan of evil surfacing its evil which WILL be defeated. But, it will not be a sight we in civilized world have seen to date as slaying evil has always cost many precious lives.

Yes, on display. But, again, for the millionth time, it’s only conservatives (who actually take the time to do the research) who notice. Liberals represent (equal to; greater than) half the population and they are either stupid, or mentally ill, or both. They will never be able to connect the dots.
I’m not even sure what this means. Personally, I would have packed my belongings and left Israel for good the day Jerusalem hosted its first “gay pride” parade.
The hundreds protsting and supporting Hamas and the Palestinian terrorists in the streets are a result of letting them enter these countries. How are we to know if they won't turn on their host counties population just as they did in Israel????

This event may finally open leftists’ eyes about the downstream consequences of their illogical beliefs. I am grateful this woman & her family were saved. She seems to have new understanding. May enough people understand the reality of evil, hatred & barbarism that evil be will henceforth be eradicated rather than empowered, across the world and especially in America, tear it out root & branch.

We do know. They will turn on their host countries’ populations. The founder of Hamas has called for worldwide Jihad on Friday. I hope we will be ready.

That being said this young woman owns a piece of this herself. By her own admission she voted for the people who contributed to this atrocity.

I read that most of those living in the kibbutz are politically left. IDK if that is true but it is ironic that the kibbutz were the most heavily targeted as well as the music festival which was also primarily young leftists.
I am physically sick just as I was after 9/11 obsessively searching for good news, for someone rescued. During the years since Zero was elected America has been progressively weaker and more at risk although that trajectory was reversed for a small window of time under Trump.
Because of the evil forces hollowing out and fattening on the lifeblood of our Nation this will not be the last horror we will see occur. The traitors who fought to prevent the wall, who undid it’s protection and reversed the laws & rulings acting to make America safer are anathema. Let them feel the pain & terror they have gifted to so many Americans and to the people who they enticed into being raped, murdered & trafficked.

So have I. But I learned long ago to assume that every word I read in the press and hear from our government is a lie until proven otherwise. But I have a feeling that if elections were held in Israel next week their left would be wiped out.
This is a harsh and terrible lesson being inflicted on Israel. I hope and pray they learn from it. You cannot peacefully coexist with people who want you dead. Trying to do so is a fools errand.
