Egyptian trucks carrying vital aid and fuel to the besieged and bombarded Gaza Strip have been forced to retreat after Israel warned Cairo that the trucks would be bombed if they entered the enclave, Sinai for Human Rights said on X.
The rights group said it obtained “exclusive footages confirming the blocking of Egyptian fuel trucks and humanitarian aids from access to the Rafah land crossing borders after Israel issued a warning to the Egyptian authorities that if it brought relief supplies into the Gaza Strip, the trucks would be bombed.”
Israel’s Channel 12 also reported that the occupation state had “sent a message to Egypt today” regarding the delivery of aid.
This comes a day after Israel’s Defence Minister Yaov Gallant ordered the complete closure of the Gaza Strip, including a ban on the entry of food, water, fuel or access to electricity as Israel intensifies its bombardment of the besieged Strip. Gallant went on to say Israel was “fighting human animals”.

Assuming that these really are civilian items, Egypt may well think they’re providing humanitarian assistance, but ANYTHING entering Gaza will be use for military purposes against Israel.
Hamas started this and Israel will end it.

We will see how long Israel can hang tough on this.
“carrying vital aid and fuel” vital to Hamas
Good.

For decades Israel delivered food, water, electricity, goods into Gaza. Even during smaller conflagrations (terror attacks) Israel continued caring and delivering basics. I was heartened to read that Israel has ceased all of it.
Will the Gaza Strip be forced to use generators and evil hydrocarbons*? Oh! The Horror!
*hydrocarbons (fossil fuels for those of you in Rio Linda)

I think it will go quick. 300,000 is a serious invasion force against a population of 2 million. Would have been the equivalent of Russia sending 5 million into Ukraine, rather than 190,000 or so.
That kind of scale is tough to imagine, and is orders of magnitude higher than what we sent into Iraq and Afghanistan.
Adding and abetting rapists and mass murders. A real President would be on the phone letting Egypt know they best put an end to this today.
Are they on the record as saying they will deploy 300K ?
“Are they on the record as saying they will deploy 300K ?”
That’s the reservist call-up, so it will be a very big number going into Gaza.
Perfect opportunity to make Gaza green.
In 1995, Grozny was pop. 400,000 and the Russians used 60,000 troops and it took two months, and a lot of losses.
Israel can probably do better than the 1995 Russian Army, but they are going to have to use reservists for some of this.
Reservists even doing backup for building to building fighting in Gaza against Hamas is going to be a heavy lift.
Egypt is free to take in migrants from Gaza, but they won’t.
The Israelis are not planning on conquering Gaza. So they'll force the civilians evacuate to Egypt. The remaining insurgents will starve due to the blockade.
Didn’t know the numbers on Grozny - roughly the same ratio. So you’re right, it will be a tough slog and Hamas is likely much better dug in.
I guess one question is how well armed will they be as it’s not easy to get anything into Gaza...but, again, we shall see.
Bibi is going to have a plan. He's not going to allow Gaza remain so they'll manufacture more terrorists in a generation from now.
Keep in mind the military is not really an invasion force in this instance. They need the military on every street corner.
