Do we really need military academies anymore? I don’t think so. Commanders are being relieved of their commands as fast as the academies can pump them out.
I’ve had no idea it’s been getting this bad
We need them so women can crash ships at sea, and blacks can eliminate Special Forces in the Army.
All the people here pining for WWIII think our military is at a 1980’s level.
They have no clue.
Forget about military academies. A more basic issue is that the U.S. should not even have a standing army of any consequential size.

One of the Founders argued against professional military academics, as it would lead to elitism (I think it was Benjamin Franklin, but I’m not sure). Better to train all future officers at colleges. We know that program today as ROTC.
That idea has some merit. Or should I say, had some merit. Because we are now stuck between a rock and a hard place. Do we want our future generals to come from woke West Point or from super-woke Harvard?
The Army War College and Navy equivalents have also gone to hell.
BS degrees is the only way to get low IQ women and minorities to pass.
This is known and deliberate.
If USA went against Russia or any modern army, we would get our asses kicked.
I can imagine the tiktok videos of homos filming themselves crying in the battlefield and how they want to go home.
I talked to a friend feom the military and he said he went in an Army post recently and they were flying the queer flag
When I was in the army in the mid 60's, believe me, there was one helluva big difference between an ROTC and a West Point man..

Future officers should know the basics of Islam and its history.
I don’t think military academies can be replaced by instruction at civilian universities.
Much of what officers need to know is military specific and officers need to get to know each other and to think in similar patterns.
