While the teachers flaunt their “righteousness” and fancy themselves activists, the more apropos term is “useful idiots” — they are unwitting accessories to an agenda that is antithetical to everyone’s best interest, including their own.
The Fresno Teachers Association, a union with around 4,000 members, is headed towards a strike, largely because the superintendent of the Fresno Unified School District, Robert Nelson, hasn’t budged on allowing school parking lots to become homeless camps; as Nelson says, the proposal isn’t within the district’s “area of expertise.”
But according to the president of the union, Manuel Bonilla, it is; from a new report at The Washington Free Beacon:
The Fresno Teachers Association laid out the policy in a contract proposal, which calls to ‘open high school parking lots to homeless families to park their car.’ The union acknowledges the move would require ‘paid security’ at a cost of at least $500,000, one of many expensive proposals union president Manuel Bonilla is pursuing in an attempt to address what he calls ‘societal things.’
“Families” huh? Are these the same people who called the thousands of military-aged men pouring across our border “families” too?

Bet their tune would change if they were camping in the faculty parking lot.
A school parking lot full of drug addicts, dealers and child molesters. Those union bass turds couldn’t care less about your kids. With them, it’s all about the money. Nothing but the money.
A lengthy teachers strike would save a generation.
How true! Anyone think an education in California is a good investment in their children’s future??
Oh why stop there. The school buildings themselves are perfect for the homeless no? They would add so much uh ambience to them. :)
Parking lot? They should have access to the faculty lounge. Faculty bathrooms, taxpayer funded coffee machines and coffee, continental breakfast bar, the whole nine yards. ;O)
Are these folks for real?
We need to understand that teachers' unions are terrorist organizations intent on burning society to the ground, even if it means harming the children in their care.
And respond accordingly.
Union leadership is never about the rank and file.
Union leaderships serve Deep State.
Teachers pay dues to this organization. That’s all you need to know.
I say house the homeless in the teachers homes. Problem solved.

a better answer is for the teachers to take the homeless into their own homes. and if they refuse to do that we will all know how full of horse droppings they REALLY are.

Declare every school in Fresno County a Charter School, tell the union to go pound sand and start hiring Non Union teachers.

Strike fine. Then no pay or benefits. See how long that lasts.
