At 06:30 on October 7th Hamas launched several thousand Rockets with various levels of sophistication from the Gaza Strip toward the Israeli Urban centers of Ashalon Rovat and Tel Aviv which is 60 miles away. The number of rockets overwhelmed Israel's missile defense system and damage on the ground was much more extensive than normally seen during these sorts of attacks.
At 07:40 Hamas launched a coordinated air sea land offensive into Israel, using bulldozers to breach physical barriers, assault craft to land on the Mediterranean beaches and paragliders to attack from the air.

The question was where did the "assault craft to land on the Mediterranean beaches", come from? If they came from a ship in the Mediterranean they could have originated from from Lebanon. But as qaz123 posted above, they could have come from Tunisia, Syria, or Egypt.
Do a Curtis LeMay on them; turn them all into a fine gray ash!
DO NOT RISK ANYMORE ISRAELI SOLDIERS LIVES!
Carpet bomb the whole Gaza Strip with NAPALM, then follow up with WHITE PHOSPHORUS.
Waite 30 days then bulldoze the ash into the Mediterranean Sea.
Worked for Curtis LeMay in Japan and the Brits in Dresden, should work here even better here, the area is not that large.
