Is that the Jefferson movement which wants to make Northern Cal and Southern Oregon into a state?

This effort has been going for for about 18 month officially. not sure how long unofficially.

The votes required by the state legislature of CA. will make this effort to succeed very unlikely, and that is the reality

It’s been going on for over a decade. You need to have the states to agree to it or a vote and they have not been able to get either.

Oregon has a county movement and are getting closer to a majority in rural areas. Portland is the big bully for the rest of the state.
