Israel ordered its state-run electricity company to halt supply to the Gaza Strip on Saturday after the Palestinian militant group Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel, the energy minister said.
âI have signed an order instructing (Israel) Electric Company to stop the electricity supply to Gaza,â Energy Minister Israel Katz said in a statement.

Siege warfare would actually be effective. A simple thing to do is to continue to shut down electricity supply. But air drop wheat, beans, rice and water. People can leave but they’ll have to surrender. Israel would lose support of the international community if they do this. South Africa under Apartheid fell apart because they lost support from other countries so they knee they had to dismantle Apartheid.
Notably, the Romans didn’t fuss about these things.
