President Donald Trump dug into his prediction from several weeks ago that violence would needlessly bloom across the Middle East in the wake of Joe Biden administration’s move to give $6 billion to Iran amid a disastrous hostage deal.
“Joe Biden betrayed Israel – he betrayed our country,” Trump stated in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Saturday evening, addressing the savage war that Hamas terrorists have launched against Israel.
The president continued, “As president, I will once again stand with Israel and we will cut off the money to Palestinian terrorists on day one.”
Trump called Biden a “poor sack of a president” and sadly predicted that he would lead the country into World War III, noting that we’ve “never been” closer.
“He tweaks the wrong people at the wrong time, he says the wrong thing at the wrong time if he says anything at all,” Trump remarked.
The 45th president also called the invasion of Hamas into Israeli territory “an act of savagery” that must be “crushed and avenged.”
“Israel is at war, and the United States MUST support Israel,” he pledged.
President Trump also noted that when he was in the White House, he brought peace to the Middle East by respecting Israeli sovereignty and brokering the Abraham Accords. “What a difference a president makes,” he commented.
Trump reminded Americans that as president, “I also stood proudly with our friend and ally, the state of Israel, and I will again.”

Hopefully Israel will take care of this before then.
He was well on the way to doing that when the election was stolen.

I am curious, how is it one of the best intelligence services in the world, the Mossad, and the ministry of defense in Israel could not have known about the impending attack by Hamas?
There is nothing that goes on in that part of the world that the Mossad doesn’t know about.
I almost wonder if Netanyahu and the Israeli high command let this attack happen, so they would finally have the justification to go after the PLO and all of the terrorist organizations there so they could wipe them all out at once.

Trump can certainly do both on Day 1. Cut off the Money and Close the border.
It’s not an either or.
Stopping this conflict between Israel and the Palestinians is a worthy goal, because stopping wars, in general, is a worthy goal. On top of that, going back to the conflict’s origins, the Israeli/Palestinian conflict has served as a proxy war between larger powers in the region and the world, who have seen advantage in its continuance. Because of that, it’s had greater strategic significance than it otherwise might.
But there’s no need to give more money to anyone or to send American troops to solve this. Russia abstained from invading Ukraine, under Trump, without us having to spend a penny. Likewise with China and the threatening behavior towards Taiwan that we’re seeing today. Trump understands this. He understands leverage and knows how to use it effectively without the need to send troops or money.

Through executive commitment and legislative action, America provides Israel with annual security assistance that helps the Middle East’s only democracy defend itself—by itself—against mounting security threats.
History and Terms
The United States has supported Israel politically since its reestablishment in 1948. But it was not until the late 1960s that it began to regularly provide security assistance to the Jewish state. Since then, America has consistently provided Israel with security assistance to help it stay strong and deter its enemies.
U.S. security assistance to Israel promotes our national security and our economy, and helps our ally defend itself against growing threats.
Security Assistance: By means of its annual foreign aid, U.S. security assistance to Israel is the most tangible manifestation of American support for the Jewish state. Assistance primarily takes the form of funding for Israel to purchase the arms needed to defend itself from its adversaries.
QME: A core element of U.S. policy is to maintain Israel’s qualitative military edge (QME)—the ability to counter and defeat any credible conventional military threat while sustaining minimal damages and casualties. In 2008, Congress wrote America’s longstanding commitment to Israel’s QME into law and required the president to continually assess whether it is being maintained.
Memoranda of Understanding: In 1998, the United States and Israel signed their first 10-year “Memorandum of Agreement on Security Cooperation” to increase security assistance to Israel while phasing out economic aid. Under the agreement, the United States committed to providing Israel $21.3 billion in security assistance. In 2016, America committed to provide $38 billion under a new 10-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
Serving American Interests
U.S. provides security assistance to key allies around the world. Current law ensures this aid can only be used for “internal security, for legitimate self-defense.”
Anchor of Stability: In an increasingly uncertain Middle East, Israel is the one stable democratic ally upon which America can consistently depend. Cooperation between the two countries in intelligence, homeland security, missile defense and counterterrorism has helped the United States meet its growing security challenges. U.S. support for Israel helps deter regional conflict by making clear to potential foes that they cannot defeat the Jewish state.
Israeli Innovation: As a result of the strong friendship between Israel and the United States, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the U.S. military share technologies and techniques that greatly benefit both nations. Israel has pioneered cutting-edge technologies in cyber defense, unmanned vehicles, sensors and electronic warfare systems, and advanced defenses for military vehicles. In addition, Israeli battlefield medical technologies have saved countless American lives. The innovative use of U.S. military equipment by the IDF, coupled with shared know-how, has helped the U.S. military improve its own equipment and tactics.
Stockpiles: Established in the 1980s, the War Reserves Stock Allies-Israel program consists of up to $3.4 billion of U.S.-owned and -managed weapons and equipment stored in Israel for use by the U.S. military. The IDF may access these reserves during emergencies, if authorized by the U.S. government.
Crucial to Israel’s Security
Mounting Threats: The ongoing instability gripping the region directly threatens the Jewish state. To its north, Israel faces Hezbollah in Lebanon and a growing Iranian presence in Syria; to its south, Israel faces Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) in Gaza while ISIS-affiliated terrorists roam the Sinai Peninsula; to its west, militant terrorist groups are gaining strength in the West Bank. Israel’s greatest threat remains Iran, which is attempting to surround the Jewish state with terrorist proxies while developing the capability to produce nuclear weapons.

The Biden administration’s now-suspended Iran envoy Robert Malley helped to fund, support, and direct an Iranian intelligence operation designed to influence the United States and allied governments, according to a trove of purloined Iranian government emails.
The emails, which were reported on by veteran Wall Street Journal correspondent Jay Solomon, writing in Semafor, and by Iran International, the London-based émigré opposition outlet which is the most widely read independent news source inside Iran, were published last week after being extensively verified over a period of several months by the two outlets.
They showed that Malley had helped to infiltrate an Iranian agent of influence named Ariane Tabatabai into some of the most sensitive positions in the U.S. government—first at the State Department and now the Pentagon, where she has been serving as chief of staff for the assistant secretary of defense for special operations, Christopher Maier.
