It is a task force to study the matter. We already know the conclusions and we also know the outcome - zero, nada, zilch.
It is simply a campaign bone thrown to blacks to help in upcoming elections. And they will almost all fall for it, hook, line and sinker.
Talk of reparations is nothing less than a leftist plot to divide people by race in order to destroy America.
Blacks are stealing it daily. Why would the voters GIVE them more money?

My dad was NYPD for 23 years- he was twice bypassed for promotion to Captain, despite having twice as much on the job experience and getting twice the score on the Captain’s exam as those who were promoted. Of course the reason my dad was bypassed for promotion by those less qualified was simply because he was white- in other words racial discrimination in NY!!!
New York did have slaves!

If North American slavery had not existed, none of the descendants of those slaves would ever have been born. Their ancestors never would have met and procreated. Descendants of slaves owe their very lives to the existence of slavery.
Not a defense of or an apology for slavery, just An inconvenient truth.

Thank you, l never mind being corrected. My mistake l just assumed NY was never a slave area since they were a northern state. As reparations we should give the NYT to Thomas Sowell.
