I don't doubt that they would like a method of mass control, but sending a beep-beep noise and a message on a cell phone screen is seems like mighty weak sauce, particularly in a nation whose people own 400 million guns, and how many billions of rounds of ammunition. Maybe that's enough to control the blue cities, but it's going to take a bit more than that to get Texas to fall in line.

You don’t get it. It can be used to create mass panic just like the radio show “war of the worlds” did. It is a mass psyops and control tool.
