Delta, American, United and Southwest Airlines have discovered that unapproved jet engine parts with fake safety certificates have been installed inside their planes.
The airline companies and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency have claimed that AOG Technics, a leading global aircraft support provider to the air transport industry, sold them the fake parts. The airlines stated that AOG Technics falsified the required airworthiness documents for the spare parts and mass-produced artificial safety certificates in order to sell its engine parts to them.
Parts sold by the problematic company have been found in 126 engines across the airlines and several questions have been raised over the effectiveness of the aviation industry’s safety oversight measures.

Counterfeit parts.....bump for later...
I do not fly .... sort of like not taking the bioweapon shots ... NO worries about adverse events/effects (unless one of the planes crash lands on my house).
Isn’t this under the purview of the Department of Transportation? Another feather in the cap of Buttigieg!
“AOG Technics was formed in 2015 and is majority-owned by 35-year-old Jose Zamora Yrala. The company has a few million dollars in assets as of early 2022 and Yrala lists his nationality as Venezuelan on some documents, and British on others. The company has a website, but it appears to be down—not the usual trait of a legitimate business and business owner.”
What could go wrong?
No Worries! Since the democRATS plan on banning usage of hydrocarbons* the planes of the future will be completely electric. Those planes will be limited to very short hops.
Also, the ginormous Charging Station at the Harris Ranch is in the news. This place touts over 90 charging stations. The dirty big secret just revealed is the source of the electricity. Semi-hidden are diesel generators. Oh! The Horror!
*Hydrocarbons - fossil fuels for those of you in Rio Linda. The left invented the term ‘fossil fuel’ in order to try to limit inexpensive and abundant energy. The oil and natural gas under our feet are not from plants and dinosaurs. Just research ‘abiotic fuel’ to learn more.
We’ve never heard of a Secretary of Transportation until Buttigieg!
bttt
There are many adverse consequences when the most advanced industrial economy in the world decides to send its supply chains overseas. Many investment bankers, CEO’s, and politicians became very wealthy destroying the US industrial infrastructure. I wonder if the private jets they fly in have a similar problem.
Look at what we’ve done to this nation’s economic infrastructure, not to mention gutting the middle class, in order to save a few dollars buying inferior products at Wal-Mart.
If they dont the gubmint should take over and supervise.
+1, bigly.
“Fake” seems too harsh. They’re simply undocumented parts.
Too bad I stopped flying
NOT
Please.
The parts exist. They’re real.
They’re also substandard and accompanied by falsified compliance certificates.
But it’s a lot easier to write “fake parts”, and intelligent people know what that means.
Usually I'm against the government getting involved but this is kind of an emergency. So the FAA needs to step in until the crisis is over. Otherwise, we don't want to see our planes crash all of a sudden.
Jose Zamora Yrala should be strapped to the fusilage of a good sized drone (made with real parts) and flown into the face of a cliff somewhere in remote Utah or Arizona.
—”Will it mean fake flights? And, will fake passengers be next?”
The problem is that you will be paid with fake cash and never get off the ground.
I had a friend in Florida who made his millions selling aircraft parts and he worked part time for the FBI traveling overseas to find the source of counterfeit parts.
He said it’s amazing what one guy in a metal working machine shop can produce.
Probably most of these parts fit together just fine, but they’re made of inferior materials.
