I disagree. Reagan had the right ideas, but in this age of insecure communications makes coordination more difficult. Think Swamp Rats or look it up.
Reagan was absolutely the right man for the late 70s and 80s, but fast forward 45 years and his ground work has been squandered by corrupt hacks pitching deficit spending and endless war. Today’s CONservatives couldn’t make a pimple on his azz, no matter how many times they reference him.
Being an aviation swabbie during the cold war, I have no combat experience. Closest I got to combat was when a Soviet sub that had been shadowing us mistakenly opened its torpedo tubes. It was quickly resolved. I probably don’t know what I’m talking about above. Feel free to clue me in about Swamp Rats or just ignore that post.
I was leary about Trump's lack of DC insider knowledge, and he showed it with some of his appointments. However, he DID make America great again with his various economic, domestic, and international policies thru strength. And yes, I believe his re-election was rigged. I won't go on about that, there is just too much damn proof. The thing that pissed me off the most was all the lawsuits that the Judges wouldn't even hear because of "no standing".
He and Trump were the best im my lifetime, and both chose VPs who were 180 degrees opposite. It’s a shame, starting with Bush #41

You have totally misunderstood Americas policy.
We, together with NATO, have never proactively been looking for a fight with Russia.
It is Russia which is expanding its territories with violence and unlawful invasions, in direct violation of international law and order.
America and NATO is just trying to CONTAIN Russian Neocons in the Kremlin who spend their entire lives fomenting wars and acting upon their polices of expansionism into others territories.
So RUSSIA is at war against the West, its not the other way around.
I will be called upon to serve in the military again when the Russian expansion will go beyond the red line.
Maybe be we’ll say hello to each-other across the frontline. :)

I agree, Trump put the economy back on track. There was so much winning for America as a whole during his presidency. The border was secure. We became energy independent, and a net exporter of oil.
He saved Ukraine from being totally invaded by Russia, by sending massive amounts of high-tech weaponry, which totally thwarted Russias ambitions IN Ukraine, they had to flee from their botched invasion of Kiev.
Obama on the other hand only sent BLANKETS (!) to Ukraine. Zero US weapons.
His weakness only fueled Russian aggression even further.

Nonsense. Putin and Putin alone is the source of the war in Ukraine. Anything else is just an excuse meant to cover Putin.
