America as a country has no interests in Ukraine, the jackasses in charge do.

We have interests in Poland, Germany, Turkey and the Baltics and if Ukraine is conquered, those countries will cower before the Russians and their Chinese communist allies fundamentally altering the balance of power. Not sure why we would want that.

We should have thought more about the consequences of provoking a Russian invasion before we engineered the 2014 coup, installed a government of our choosing, allowed Ukrainian Nazis to inflict still ongoing terror on Russian speakers in Eastern Ukraine, encouraged non-adherence to the Minsk agreements, and failed to address diplomatically Russian concerns about a future NATO member on such a critical location along their border.

I guess if you don’t have enemies you have to make them. We’re doing an excellent job on that score. Practice makes perfect, I guess.

When it’s all over, I favor erecting a statue honoring John McCain for his glorious legacy. Oh yeah, it’s never going to end, says Joe. Never mind then.

The domino theory is dead. It was NATO that is still trying to expand. Russia doen’t want to takeover any of the EU. With the USA choaking the EU to death on energy prices, Russia has already resumed selling cheap energy to the EU via India, Turkey, etc. Russia will take their money.
