“Keep him out of the Presidency if he falls for it.”
No, it doesn’t.

“Trump cannot do this now even if he wanted to.”
Sure, he can.

The President can be Speaker?
Neat, if so.

“The President can be Speaker?”
You said it keep him out of, but it does not prevent him from becoming President because he can resign the speakership at any time.
Not to mention, name the constitutional clause that says the Speaker of the House cannot be the President. The House can nominate anyone as their Speaker.
Article I, Section2: “The House of Representatives shall choose their speaker and other officers; “
Nothing in there that says, “...and it cannot be the President.”

It’s totally unrealistic, and impractical, but I would love to see Trump as Speaker and President at the same time! First, it would be historic for the President to also be the Speaker, but it would just send the liberals into uncontrollable temper tantrums beyond anything we’ve ever seen.

He can. The speaker does not need to be a member of the House of Representatives.

The Constitutional Amendment (I forget which nimber) says that a person cannot be ELECTED President more than twice.
As Speaker becoming Pres, Trump would not have been elected, so he would be eligible for two more terms.
That would make lefties’ heads explode like smashed watermelons.

An entertaining idea, but I can’t envision Trump submitting himself to all the parliamentary aspects of the rules he’d need to observe in the position.

Do it. The complications it would mean for Trump’s court cases alone are mind boggling.
