I don’t think it’s petty. It’s a direct, and appropriate, response to the unanimous Democrat support on the motion to remove McCarthy as House Speaker.

I presume she still kept her office as “Speaker Emeritus” or “Immediate Past Speaker” or something like that. Well, now that McCarthy has been deposed, he holds that title, not her.
