An older pharmacist friend, at the height of the mask mania, sent me a photo of surgeons operating over a patient, with a heading along the lines of “masks work”. I replied that if I had to stand over the steaming innards of somebody’s disease riddled torso I’d want to wear a mask too. Grocery shopping or working out in the gym, not so much. He has since come around to sanity, BTW.
Did you point out to him that the mask is there to keep the doctor from drooling into the open wound?
