Good evening, radu...hope you’ve had a nice relaxing day.

Been sprinkling all night and day...only about 2/10.

Should have been working all day, but got side tracked at my own desk. Bunch of little stuff done. NOW I need to go to work. LOL!

Howdy, luvie.

Those rain showers to the west just won’t move east, will they? Maybe tomorrow.

Hey there, Kathy.

Yes, it’s been a pretty quiet day here. A bit on the toasty side so I wasn’t in the mood for doing anything outside. Plus I’m still recuperating from washing the car yesterday. LOL That did a number on the ol’ bum back. Too much hard rubbing.

I was thrilled when I pulled up the Lake Hood cam to check on it and saw it’s working again. But disappointed to see it was raining AGAIN up there. At least it’s stopped now. I hope there aren’t a lot of leaves on your deck.

Oops on getting sidetracked today but it was nice getting some of you own stuff taken care of, wasn’t it? I hope you aren’t set back too much on what you need to do to be ready for tomorrow.

Hey there, radu!

No...we seem to have a border fence right outside our area to keep rain out. Grr! It’s in the forecast all week, though, so is there hope? I hope so.

Did you get any yet?

I tried sweeping today, but the snow shovel would work better...it’s just too wet.

Yesterday there were 9 ducks, 2 boys and 7 girls. They fought most of the time....necks straight out and chasing, chasing, chasing. Stupid ducks!

Tonight 11 ducks that seem to be getting along.

I know too well about that border fence. LOL I have one here too.

No, no rain today and there’s no chance for any until Thursday and Friday when the cold front comes through. 20% Thursday and 30% Friday for scattered showers. I won’t get any. We’ll just cool down a lot. They’re calling for Saturday night’s lows to be in the 40s. brrrr

It’s a shame the southern border isn’t as strong. LOL!

We’re actually going to have highs in the 70s starting Thursday, which I’m really looking forward to! But lows in the 60s....not the 40s like yours will be.

LOL! I’d mentioned last week that you might need your snow shovel to deal with those leaves. A broom is pretty useless when they’re deep and wet. I used a shovel on our deck at the other house a few times.

Your duck numbers are slowly increasing. I wonder how many you’ll have this winter. I recall counting well over 200 a couple of years ago! That was crazy! LOL

Ain't dat da truth? LOL

I know you're looking forward to those 70s for highs. We'll have upper 80s through Wed., low 80s Thurs., mid 70s Fri., then around 70 afterwards. I'll need a jacket when I go to the museum Sat. morning because it'll be right nippy. I guess I'll have to break down late Sat. night and turn the heat on with that 40s low overnight. *sigh*

I haven’t even thought of heat. LOL! I still haven’t used a top sheet since the first of June. I guess it’s a’comin’ though.

It’ll be cooler on the mountain too, huh!

We’ve had a few nights that dropped into the 50s but I didn’t need to turn on the heat. It was comfortably cool in here but 40s might make it a little too cool. The thermostat won’t be cranked up but if the temps drops too much in here, it’ll be set on heat to keep it comfy enough. Too cool and I won’t want to get out of the bed let alone change into clothes. LOL

Yes, it’ll be a few degrees cooler on the mountain. Cool enough to wear my long-sleeved museum shirt rather than one of the t-shirts. Not cool enough for the sweatshirt but that’ll come eventually.

A very pleasant good Monday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.

Yesterday at Comanche Lake:

I also went and got our supper from KFC for the next few days.

How's everyone doing this morning?

Sweats as jammies? I’d roast to death. LOL You must keep your house a lot colder than I do. I set the thermostat on 71 during winter now that Hubby’s gone. He didn’t like it that cool and 74 was as low as he’d allow. 74 was fine but uses more gas. Propane is outrageous these days. I’d be better off with electric and will go that route if this central system conks out.

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

Looks like it was a bit on the warm side over there yesterday. Gizmo seemed to have a great time anyway. Bet he was ready for some of that KFC. LOL
