DeSantis on Trump: 'I Don't Think He Can Win the Election'
NewsMax ^ | Saturday, 30 September 2023 | Eric Mack

Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis is taking the fight to former President Donald Trump, calling out the polling leader's refusal to debate as an indication Trump cannot beat President Joe Biden.

"He's not showing up: He's missing in action," DeSantis told HBO's "Real Time With Bill Maher" on Friday night. "He owes it to voters to show up and defend his record. And I think he thinks he can take a juiced [up] poll, and then people don't get to vote. That's not the way the system works.

"You've got to go earn votes. So I'm showing up."

DeSantis is calling out Trump to a debate, like he has California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom, pointing to his performance in the second debate — during which, pundits noted, he was presidential.

"I was the one guy that people said, 'You know what? This guy is actually acting like a president when the rest were not,'" DeSantis told Maher. "And so, OK, there I am. I told Donald, 'Let's do a debate.'

"I'm debating your governor, Gavin Newsom," DeSantis continued to Hollywood host Bill Maher.

"But let's do a debate with me and him. I'll do it."

DeSantis rejected Maher's belief Trump is unbeatable.

"That's not true," DeSantis said. "So, one, I don't think he can win the election. I could win the election. Two, I don't think he could actually get the job done that we need to do.

"For example: COVID. I think we need accountability for what this government did to this country with the COVID restrictions, mandates, and lockdowns. Donald Trump is not going to do that. He says he did everything right. He says he saved millions of lives with lockdowns. He claims his MNRA shot saved 100 million lives."

Just look at Canada under Justin Trudeau. Carbon tax and all that to combat climate change. It would all have been enacted under Al Gore.

Say what you will about George W. Bush, but he kept the economy running during his administration.

Did you sleep through that little financial collapse in 2007?

Bush and McCain actually warned about the Subprime Mortgage Crisis. You can take a look at this video.

I realize that Bush had a lot of flaws. He made mistakes. But he tried to do his best. I rate his presidency as a C-.

“Way too many have dumped Trump to make him able to beat Newsome.”

And you know this ... how?

Thanks to W we endured his missing the approaching 911 attack, his destabilizing the Middle East by killing Saddam and warring with Iraq for a concocted reason, barely survived an economic collapse fueled in part by his incompetence and lived through his 20 year war turned nation building.

Sorry, but his "best" earns an F.

He called you a xenophobe and referred to citizens as human capital. He hangs out with Moochelle and Bill Clinton. Criticizes us and Trump but gives Joe Biden a pass. He wants the NWO. He got us into all kinds of wars. How can we forget when ads are all over TV with guys with burned faces and missing limbs. All for absolutely nothing.

Are you kidding? He TRIED to do his best. Well that just was not good enough, was it?

If there is anything lower than a F, Shrub qualifies for it.

Are we missing the obvious here?
They are both from the same state anyway. That's a constitutional no-no.
Is DeSantis assuming Trump would move?

The Iraq War was a mixed bag. Saddam was a SOB. Michael Yon (a well known War Blogger) said that the Iraq War was probably not worth it.

But the Democrats have evolved into Marxists. They believe in the Climate Change hoax. And they have to fundamentally transform our economy. Al Gore was a firm believer in the movement. Nope. Can't support him. Same deal with John Kerry, the same guy who flies to Climate Change Conferences in Paris and he lectures us on how we should be environmentally conscious.

All for absolutely nothing.

It appears to me that all the guys who wanted to die for Allah have died in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. They fought for Al-Qaeda and ISIS. We've sent a message after 9/11. We'll kick your @$$.

Sorry, but they just walk across our border. The whole thing was for naught. Why use stupid weapons of war when you can infiltrate and take over because of weak stupid so called RAT RINO leaders?

Face it. McCain fraternized with Al Qaeda and helped ISIS.

There are about 8,000 members of the Senior Executive Service, a civil service position established by Jimmy Carter in 1979. You can find their names listed on government websites.

These unelected career bureaucrats hold their positions in government often for many decades. In many ways their power is greater than that of elected officials. Their agenda is consistently anti-American. They are a form of secret society, in that the American people are overwhelmingly unaware of their existence and actions.

The terms “deep state” and “cabal” are often used interchangeably, but they’re not necessarily the same. The latter group are more nebulous than the former which I described above. The cabal refers to groups like high level bankers, members of secret societies and elite families whose global influence goes back many centuries.

The shadow government is another term which technically refers to the members of the intelligence agencies who also use their positions to enact policies and other structures which are contrary to the Constitution and the interests of the American public.

Where is the evidence for this?

Desantis’s campaign message:

Hey, I’m just like that guy you REALLY like, but somehow I’m better so vote for me....

And they wonder why they are going nowhere.

The Electability argument is a nonsense argument that the establishment marches out anytime the pleebs don’t follow their script.

Truth is Trump is the ONLY R who has any shot at winning, noe of the other establishment/uniparty/globalist backed folks (Desantis included) have absolutely no shot at winning. IF Trump can’t win, no one can.

The only president elected in a 2 way race to grow his support by more than 17 percent, in more than 100 years, from either party, but he can’t win (eye roll).

Where is the evidence for this?

Start reading:

Durham’s 300-plus page report also states that the FBI used “raw, unanalyzed, and uncorroborated intelligence,” to launch the “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation into Trump and Russia but used a different standard when weighing concerns about alleged election interference regarding Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

Link here.
