Immunity wanes after anywhere from three to six months, experts say.
An independent panel of advisers at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is recommending that everyone over the age of 6 months get the updated COVID vaccine this fall.
"Even children and adults with no underlying conditions can still experience severe illness due to COVID," said Dr. Sandra Fryhofer, an adjunct associate professor of medicine at the Emory University School of Medicine.
Most infectious disease experts agree with the recommendations made by the federal health agency.
"I agree with the CDC recommendations because it is a simple recommendation to follow, and I believe that the benefit of the vaccine outweighs any risk at every age level," Dr. Todd Ellerin, chief of infectious diseases at South Shore Health, told ABC News.
"It’s consistent and harmonized with the flu shot and I think that really important. We need to emphasize that,” he added.
Dr. Donald Alcendor, a professor of microbiology, immunology and physiology at Vanderbilt University, said the sweeping recommendation "was the right thing to do."
"If you start to restrict recommendations to certain age groups or vulnerabilities and leave younger people out of it, you forget that young people can spread COVID and can get older people sick," he told ABC News.

That is because it is not a vaxx-it is just a fancier flu shot that can cause even more harm to your immune system-I’ve actually seen ads on TV and online recommending that people get “two things at once”-the newest flu shot and the new wuhan vaxx at the same time-how is that supposed to be good for anyone?

NovaVax contains purified spike proteins which Dr. McCullough and others identify as harmful to the heart and other vital organs. There isn’t any mRNA in them, but the spike proteins on their own are a problem.
“No more mRNA poisons” According to what I’ve read and heard, the mRNA is only part of the whole problem of these “vaxxes”-even the protein-based ones like NovaVax contain the spike proteins, which can be damaging to some people-that is likely why it is not approved. Taking any of them seems like Russian roulette to me-but it is an individual choice-good luck...

I have been following him on substack since reading that article when it first came out. A lot of voices crying in the wilderness take part in the discussions.
Except the "vaccine" doesn't prevent young people from getting or spreading Covid. So what is the reasoning? When so-called "experts" can't even make a logical argument, all it does is make me distrust anyone who claims to be an "expert."

The CDC and its captured cadre of doctors, nurses and hospitals have significantly changed HISTORIC recommendations and tenets they once held. No longer do vaccines have to actually BE vaccines, apparently herd-immunity is out the window and those stupid masks can prevent spreading (bet you couldn’t get one of them to walk into an Ebola ward wearing just a mask.)
All of this - just to reintroduce quarantining and by extension, full country-wide mail-in voting for 2024. That’s all this is and they are a bunch of full blown criminals in my book.

Not where I live. People are just like sheep. Those flu shots are only good if the strain that is in them is what is going around.
