NEWS: Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) was caught on camera pulling the Cannon fire alarm ahead of this motion to adjourn vote as Dems tried to delay the CR vote, multiple sources tell me.
We have reached out to him for comment - we haven’t viewed footage ourselves.
There was an alert to Capitol police officers to locate him, I’m told
Obstruction of Congress. Whatever the J6-ers get, he should get 10X.
He should be arrested, charged, then expelled from the House.

Democrat Rep Jamaal Bowman reportedly just violated 18 USC 1512(c)(2), interruption of an official proceeding.
Here’s what happened.

A perfect example of the ridiculously juvenile Democrats.
Were the fire alarms pulled during J6?
So who put up the Black guy to pull this stunt? Will he fall on his sword and say it was all his doing?
INSURRECTIONIST!! But hey come now, he’s a black communist Democrat so they are always above the law..always
Republican pulls fire alarm: Criminal attempt to interfere with Congress. Arrest him.
Democrat pulls fire alarm: Understandable act of frustration. Let’s all move on now.
I really should get a job writing for the mainstream media.
So they can play the race card.

Do members of Congress have immunity from committing crimes, such as this? I would hope that McCarthy will ensure that he is charged appropriately.

Our Rep Marjorie Taylor responds to this stunt:
25 Code of Federal Regulations Law § 11.430 - False alarms:
§ 11.430 False alarms. A person who knowingly causes a false alarm of fire or other emergency to be transmitted to, or within any organization, official or volunteer, for dealing with emergencies involving danger to life or property commits a misdemeanor.
He'll get a gentle scolding at best.
Capitol police would have probably shot them if they had pulled them.
Something like pulling a fire alarm in order to create a diversion would definitely be a breach of the peace.
