Why are you lying? R’s lost control of Congress after the shutdowns during the Clinton years. R’s lost seats in the elections after the big shutdown. Newt had to give up the gavel after a short time (4 years). How long did Nancy hold the gavel?
The D’s took control of the House in the 2018 elections (after two shutdowns that year).
The R’s gained seats in 2020, but D’s remained majority.
The R majority is razor thin now.

By the way, you should start watching Dr. Steve Turley on YouTube. He explains (with facts and figures) how a new world is rising and replacing the old. Europe is making a hard right turn, and so is America.
Though I don’t agree with his stances always (particularly his celebration of Putinism (who is a murderous despot and not a freedom fighter), I really enjoy his data. You’ll feel better if you listen to him.
