Former President Donald Trump is enjoying a massive lead in the Georgia Republican primary race, one month after the release of his now-famous Fulton County mugshot, according to a 20/20 Insight survey.

The survey found Trump enjoying support from a majority of likely GOP voters — 58 percent. That puts him 42 points ahead of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who came in a distant second place with 16 percent support.

Every other candidate listed came in the single digits. Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley received seven percent support, followed by former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Vice President Mike Pence, both of whom saw four percent support.

Anti-woke businessman Vivek Ramaswamy garnered three percent support, followed by South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott who received two percent support. The remaining candidates, including former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, saw zero percent support. Notably, Hutchinson did not make the stage in the second GOP primary debate, which took place Wednesday night:

The former president currently has the mugshot pinned to his “X” account, opting to post for the first time on the platform after being previously banned.

“ELECTION INTERFERENCE. NEVER SURRENDER!” the image reads:

The lockdown, big Parma blank check, bumpstock banner who imposed Marxism on us complete with mail in ballots. Maybe his DACA amnesty is the winner.

Republican primaries mean nothing in Georgia. The spiders come out for the general.

Old news. I'm more interested in data related to the general election.

The primaries are pretty much over. So Biden is the favorite to win reelection.

I dont believe it. I was in Atlanta for the runoff vote between Warnock and Walker and they elected that shifty eyed abortion supporting "pastor" Warlock. In/around Atlanta, theres "Black Power" posters everywhere with that "fist" logo painted all over too. The whole city and suburbs smell like pot and you should see all the dope and drug paraphernalia that is sold in the convenience stores. If Atlanta is a representation of the rest of Georgia...they aint voting republican.

If you never seen the video of Warlock and Brandon on stage at a baptist church service in Atlanta, you should google it. I'd post it but I wont because it makes me ill.

Understand something in this poll.

The 58% of those polled represent some of the upper class, damn near all of the rest of a Republican voters in Georgia.

However, the remaining 36% represent the majority of the Republicans in the Georgia legislature and country club, GOPe, Chamber of Commerce, RINO, Establishment, Reynolds Plantation, Ansley Golf Club, Piedmont Driving Club, Buckhead, Sea Island, St Simons Island, Fratboi “Republicans”

Sadly, far too many fall for the same BS that the Kemp crew spews out year after year.

Kemp needs to be sued for using the name “Republican”.

That’s like Nathan Bedford Forest calling himself a Republican. Of course he wouldn’t, since he was more honorable then Kemp: he quit the Klan when they started murdering people.

Kemp is just an old line Blue Dawg Democrat. Probably has Lester Maddox’s pick handle in his basement with lights on it.

“ The primaries are pretty much over. So Biden is the favorite to win reelection.”

Only because of election fraud.

Only because of election fraud.

That's only a part of it. White women are voting democratic due to the abortion issue.

A real election would be spectacular. Unfortunately we get another monstrosity thrust on us. The only interesting thing is who the Democrats allow to win so they can pretend to have opposition.

It’s a miracle Brian Kemp got elected and he’s done a great job imo. GA is now #1 worldwide in film production, requiring huge numbers of film folks (Dems) to move here.

That will last until 10pm after the polls close. Then the replacement ballots and Trump is done. 2020 was a test and everything after that was a trial balloon to see if they can pull it off again and in other places.

State-by-state polls of Trump versus Dem candidate would be interesting, and might even inform primary voters on the viability of the various choices.
