Incredible statement. The more the rest of the world changes the more Russia stays the same. Hardly any other major nations currently believes that it can just invade other countries expand their borders.

Check out the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Russia, and Kazakhstan and Germany. Then look at the map and guess how the latter should take place. You can just as well state that Mexicovuas turned back on the US.
